Nina's face turned deathly pale the instant she heard Trent.
Brandon stared at her with icy contempt and told Trent, "Play the recording."
Without hesitation, Trent lifted his phone and tapped play.
Nina's voice crackled through the speaker, mixing with the rustle of fabric and breathy moans. "Brandon and I were just classmates, Declan. We never dated. How could he ever compare to you? I was yours from the moment I saw you. And you've been widowed for years. Wouldn't a young wife like me be exactly what you need?"
Declan scoffed. "I know you're just after my money. But don't get your hopes up. The prenup locks everything down. You won't be walking away with much."
Nina giggled, her voice dripping with flirtation. "Money has nothing to do with it. I love you for you."
Suddenly, she gasped. "Hey, easy there..."
As soon as the first recording finished playing, Trent started the second one without hesitation.
