The morning was silent. Peace covered the streets of Lakewood .I wanted badly to skip achool for at least five days. I knew that the Finley sister's would be waiting for me at school. Waiting eagerly for my blood. My heart throbbed with each movement. I had left the house earlier than usual, unwilling to go with Jake. I didn't want him to protect me or fight my battle. I was ready to face my fears even if it meant I had to defend myself again. But what triggered that was the unfair treatment I had received from the principal. I wanted justice. I wanted to fight.
