The past few weeks have been surprisingly different from everything that has been happening. Katrina has proven to be more useful than I expected, but I still don’t trust her motives for coming here.
“I’m thinking we send over someone to just check the situation on the south,” Noah, my second, suggested, pointing at the map.
We were in the pack camp, discussing the strategic plan for the next week. “Perhaps if we sent our scouts to first access. With a day’s ride they might get there and back” Katrina suggested, clearly calculating.
She shouldn’t be here. She should be far away from this just like how her mother wanted, but she was here leading a team.
“I can’t believe we still haven’t claimed her as ours’ my wolf hissed, making me roll my eyes.
“Zane, I have made it clear. Her mother said no.’
“Fuck that. She won’t stop us’ He retorted, a smirk on his face.
“No! We respect her wishes. And don’t try to fucking claim her without my consent,’ I added.
