Nick’s POV
Waking up today was the day we were heading back to New York. I was a little excited and a little scared but I knew in the end of this was a new life for Soma. I knew she would probably want to keep her store, but with everything that happened, I don’t think it would be a wise thing. I know Marcus was gone, but she would still fear that he was going to take her away again. I wish I would have hurt him a little just so he knew that he pissed me off, but I am glad I didn’t react that way because it wasn't who I was.
I was a little nervous to meet my mate, Mary said she was in Oliver’s pack so I would be watching everyone and hoped she loved me too. I wanted to tell Oliver about what Mary told me about my mate, but I am sure he wasn't going to be able to help me. Even if he did help me, I think my mate would probably freak out a little bit because this is overwhelming for me too. I knew she would love me, and I would do everything I could to show her my love.
