Dad responds instantly. “I know you can do this. I was expecting that you and I had some time to review it together before the day came.” “Ok. From the looks of it, you have gone over this paperwork forward and backward, am I correct?” “You are,” Dad confirms. “OK, so tonight I will go over it. In the morning, I will hand it back to you, and you can add sticky notes to any areas you wish that I make sure to cover in its entirety.” I confirm before placing the notes under my arm. “Are we done here?” I ask. “Would you like to have dinner with your mother and me?” He asks. “I do not have time for pleasantries. I must look over the paperwork. Another time perhaps?” “Very well. You are dismissed.” Dad formally releases me, and I head to my room to study.
