Athena’s P.O.V.
“I am not going to EGC today because I am not feeling well, Nadz. Siguro, sasaglit na lang muna ako sa Charmed—I am going to review something really important. Then, I’ll be home after that. Pakisabi na lang din kay Ate Paula,” I called Nadine as soon as I reached my car in the Mondrian parking lot.
“Pero, ma’am… hmm, ano naman pong sasabihin ko kay Sir Dave in case hanapin niya kayo?” Nadine asked.
Hearing the name Dave means wala na talaga si Cristoff. It felt like something struck my heart kung kaya’t bigla na naman akong nanlumo.
“Don’t worry! I—I just came to see him, but he pushed me away. So, I guess there’s no reason for him to ask for my presence. You know what? I was even a nuisance to him, and I think just hearing my name will already fuel his rage against me.” My voice
