KANE’S POV

“Logan, finish up here, I am taking my mate home.” I sent a mind link to Logan and drove off with Sara. I could not stand having her there for one second.

She needed to be home where she can feel safe and have us around. It was not long into the drive, and she fell asleep. She must have been tired from all this.

I looked at her hands and my anger rose. I gripped the steering hard that my knuckles turned white. That bastard was going to pay for what he did to her.

She might seem unbothered by what he did but I knew she was angry. She was angry because she did not fight him because she was trying to protect our pup.

She was angry that she let him do as he pleased with her because of that. She was angry, she was far from being unbothered and that was why she asked to take his fingers herself.
