It was like a dream.
A very weird dream, because how is the woman standing in front of him not his wife Tessa?
What the hell did she mean that she was not Tessa?
He took another step forward. “I thought you were my wife , Tessa, you disappeared. I thought you were dead.”
“Oh I'm sorry about your wife being late, I normally get into a lot of situations like this but I can assure you...” Her voice was icy. “ I dont know you or have ever met you, I acknowledge I may have shared a stark resemblance with your wife for you to react this way good sir, but I am nothing like your wife, I am not her, now leave me to get going my way.”
Pedro looked around at the executives now watching him. “Can we talk? Please, just you and me—outside.”
Tessa let out a short, humourless laugh. “You are joking right? Mr whatever you call yourself you dont seem to get that you are harrassing me and making me uncomfortable ”
