Days passed and somehow they were managing with their tasks, thanks to Alfred’s guidance. Despite that, there were things that were taking time because of certain challenges.
Like right now, they were scampering about the whole place, trying to get things done, but some youths were having trouble with instructions and would end up running back to Alfred to clear some things, which causes a delay in their work.
“Everyone watch out!”
Selene screamed aloud, noticing a part of the ceiling that they were working on was crumbling. Just her shout was enough to make everyone scatter. It didn’t take a minute when the wood and parts of the roof fell on the floor. Thankfully, her warning avoided any injuries among them.
“Don’t worry, Miss Selene. Will fix that.”
Marco scratches his head, forcing a smile because they were struggling with repairs.
“Are you all right, Miss Selene?”
