Days passed, and the tension between Adyant and Veda remained palpable.
Veda's defiance had left Adyant shocked, unsure of how to respond or talk to her
Adyant wandered the empty halls of their mansion, feeling lost and isolated.
He didn't know why but Veda's silence was eating him alive.
He felt as if something inside of him was ripping apart.
He felt empty.
He felt alone without her.
He missed her voice, her smile, her gentle touch and her brown eyes looking at him with a sense of longing.
But whenever he tried to approach her, Veda would politely dismiss him, her eyes cold and distant.
She would try to stay away from him. She would go out without telling him anything and would come back after hours with a genuine smile on her face.
As for the other times, then she will remain the same loving Veda with the family and kids but with Adyant she behaved like a stranger with whom she was just sharing a roof with and nothing else.
It felt as if his existence didn't matter to her anymor
