Chapter 4: Alpha Tobias

Beatrice's POV

Everything is so fast that I could even imagine. My legs are shaking. My heart was pounding like a drum and my head started to spin as I forced myself to wake up in a dream that I was kissing a ruthless Alpha, but then reality slapped me with the truth. Alpha Tobias is real. He's kissing me and I'm starting to like it.

But the kiss ended when I finally woke up with that realization. 

“Y-You kissed me?” I asked him, but he just blankly stared at me.

“What do you think?” He asked instead and shook my head. 

I let out a deep breath and still have the courage to look at him despite what we did.

“What will be your condition if I accept your offer?” I asked him confidently despite the fear in my heart. Alpha Tobias was known for being ruthless and if I decline his offer, he won't think twice about killing my life. 

“Like I said, you will be my Luna and you have 300 days to give me a child. After that, you can have your freedom to leave my life away. You can escape from your hell life and don't show your damn face with me again.” I grit my teeth because of how he talked to me, but I did my best to keep those reactions within myself. I'm still afraid of him.

“F-Fine, I will accept the deal.” I utter and this time, I am not doubting the decision I have chosen for my life. Now I'm hoping that I won't regret this decision in my life. But still, Alpha Tobias saved me from my supposed execution for getting accused of his twin brother's death, and I should thank him for doing that. However, he's not worthy of my thank you because he had a deal with me.

I'm worried what would be my life in his hands, but for now, I should be happy because I'm still alive. 

“We need to leave this place as soon as possible.” I turned my head as he uttered those words. 

“W-Where are we going, Alpha Tobias?” I asked him in a polite manner. He just furrowed his brows and pulled my hands instead.

“I don't want a talkative Luna. Just shut your hell mouth and follow me.” He responded coldly, so I just bent my head down to hide my angry face.

Alpha Tobias helped me get inside of his car and he sat next by my side. We leave the forest and I just focus my head to the way until we reach our destination. He grabbed me inside of his house and I wasn't expecting what we found inside.

“Alpha Tobias, my pleasure.” A man who is in Alpha Tobias' age bowed his head in front of us. The way he did that, I could already tell how he respected his Alpha.

“Is the contract paper ready, beta Raven?” He asked the man in front of us.

“Yes, Alpha, and it's on the table.” Raven responded, but Alpha Tobias didn't say anything. He kept on pulling my hand until we reached the table. 

He slammed the contract in front of me, which made me stare at it. My brows furrowed.

“You've prepared this contract before you—” 

I didn't have the chance to continue my words when he suddenly slammed his hands on his table.

“Just sign the fucking contract and stop interrogating me. I hate that kind of behavior!” He responded to me and I took the pen to sign the contract he made with my shaking hands.

Alpha Tobias is too cold. He became so bad as we entered his pack and now I am imagining what would be my life here. Is he really sincere in making me his Luna? Or does he have other plans? 

Whatever that is, only Alpha Tobias can answer that. I just have to wait for whatever he will do with me and I have no other options to choose. My future depends on him. I have no right to complain. Not even once.

He took the contract and gave it to Raven after I signed it. Alpha Tobias looked at me with no emotions written to his face.

“Don't forget about the deal, Beatrice. You have 300 days to give me what I wanted. If you can give me a child, I will free your life but if you're not, I will kill you for my protection.” 

I smiled bitterly from what he said because I was expecting that I would be safe from death, but I was wrong again. There's no escape from death anymore. I have to give him what he want even though this is not what I wanted.

“I-I understand, Alpha Tobias.” I responded and then he nodded his head. 

“Come on, I will take you to our room.” Alpha Tobias turned his back to the other way and he even started to walk somewhere, so I better follow him.

As we reached the second floor of the house, I was shocked that he suddenly pulled my hand. He pinned me against the wall and then my heart beat so fast when I stared at him in his pair of eyes.

“W-What are you doing, A-Alpha Tobias?”

He began to brush my hair with his hands and every time that his skin touched mine, I could feel my body reacting. Damn. 

“I just can't control myself, Beatrice. You are the most beautiful she-wolf I have ever seen and I'm wondering why my brother treated you that way…”

I was shocked. 

How did he know that his twin brother didn't treat me well?

“W-What did you say?”

Just the second that I was going to interrogate him, he moved away. Alpha Tobias put his hands back to his pant's pockets and looked at me as if I'm the most disgusting woman he had ever seen. 

This man was weird. I couldn't seem to understand him. Well, what would I expect from him? He's an enigmatic type of an Alpha. No one knows him that much.

“A-Alpha Tobias…” I bit my lower lips as I couldn't form my words well.

“This is my room. You can take a rest because I have something to do first. I'll be back.”

He already turned his back from me to leave and I watched him. But before he could move his legs, he went back to me and then I suddenly blushed when he kissed me again. 

Damn. This is the second time that this Alpha kissed my lips. And most of all, this is the second time that I didn't do anything to push him away!

“I'll be right back. Get ready because you will start with your first move on achieving your deal with me.” 

I froze from the words he whispered in my ear and out of a sudden, my face blushed because of Alpha Tobias.
