The hot afternoon wind blows on my face as I stood on the school's front step with my eyes closed, savoring the earthly smell coming from the forest around.

I let myself get carried away by the warm heat of the sun as it beats down on me while I wait for what seems like an eternity for dad's car to pop up.

I got tired of waiting and decided to sit on the wooden waiting bench at the school bus stop. The bus had left before I came and only a few fancy cars are left parked.
