Every person has his or her own purpose in life. That each of us has a specific reason why we were born. There are moments when life would make it hard for us to understand our purpose. And there are also times when everything may seem to be working in our favor. The bottom line is we all have our own stories to tell. And it’s up to us if we want it to end as a happy story, a sad story, or a tragedy. Because we are the only ones who have the power to decide on how our story goes.

The more that I listen to Aunt Connie, the more I realize how Drake’s family was also a victim of greed and power. I appreciate how much Drake’s father had valued Aunt Jess. That despite everything else he still did everything that he could to save her and my mother.
