The Confession

Dust filled my nostrils causing me to cough violently and I dropped the book on the table to rush to the wide open window. calming my lungs with deep and slow breaths of clean air I went back to the sitting area. I sat down on the same spot as the King sat last time when we both were here. The memory was still fresh in my mind when he had asked for my permission to touch me.

Now that I looked back to it, was he trying to find me to kill me and get done with it? Goddess, why did anything I thought led me to that particular depressing thought? I massaged my forehead with my finger tips to try to relieve the oncoming headache. Last two nights, I didn't get much sleep hence the reason why my eyes were red rimmed and itchy.
