Chapter Seventeen

The rest of the day was pretty much uneventful. Andreas and I had been in the living room, watching tv for the longest hours before I decided to retire to my room.

I was scrolling through Chloe's page on Instagram checking to see if there was any new post or comment on her page. There was none. I opened my messages and clicked on Zach's name.

"Hey Zach." I had texted. My finger hovered above the send button as I contemplated whether or not to click on it. I decided not to as I didn't want to bother him. He had told me not to contact him and I was trying to respect that. Since our break up, I had only run into him once in the hallway. I remember that I had stopped and waited, I didn't know whether or not to say hi or wave at him. Zach on the other hand didn't pay me a second glance, he didn't acknowledge or even try to say hi to me.

I knew then that he meant it when he had said he wouldn't acknowledge me if he ever saw me again and that I should bother to either. I cried for minutes
