Chapter Twenty Five

We pulled up outside the gate of a large building. A vast compound lay before the building.

"Why aren't we going in?." I asked Chris. Wondering why he didn't want to park his car inside the vast compound like the others had done.

"It's gonna take longer to drive out if I park my car inside."

He got out of the car and I did the same. Carefully arranging my dress so that the high slit wouldn't show more than I intended to do. We started walking towards the gate and I could see the long pathway that stretched to the front door of the building.

"What is this place?." I asked mesmerized by the luxury before me.

I couldn't help but notice the cars parked in the compound as we walked down the pathway. Most of the cars were luxurious cars that cost a fortune. It was safe to say that everyone inside the building is freaking wealthy.

"This is Mr. Smith's house." He said, cooly.
