I never believed vampires existed. They were only myths created for entertainment and scaring little children. That belief began wavering when I met the man who could change the color of his eyes at will. After several encounters, I stopped believing that it was just a coincidence and that he really had Supernatural abilities- abilities that vampires were rumored to have. What if I had been wrong all these years? What if Vampires did exist?
View MoreFidgeting her fingers and praying God to give her enough courage, she finally walks to the boy for whom she felt slightly more than a school-girl should. She was more nervous to talk with him than giving her first boards last to last year. She gulped the lump formed in her throat and looked at him.
He was sitting on his bike outside the school, with his friends surrounding him. With a boring school uniform -white school shirt, grey pants and a grey tie- he still looked like the handsome boy, famous in social media . His long hairs that often caused him to earn a bunch of scoldings, shined under the sunlight. His brown eyes had a spark as his mouth opened and shut, cracking jokes.
They were laughing and teasing each other. And that's what she was afraid of. What if they laugh on her too? What if she just embarrasses herself there? What if they start teasing her? What if she will be bullied?
But what if 'he' smiles at her? What if he accepts her proposal? What if she and he live happily ever after? The positive soul within spoke.
Nodding at her thought she takes a step forward.
"H__Hi. " She cussed herself for stuttering while just saying a Hi. How will she propose him?
The boys turned to her and they stopped laughing. It was quite shocking to see her coming and initiate a conversation as she was a nerd, who always focussed on her front bench and her textbook. They only needed her in times of exams. No more no less.
"Yeah? "
"Uh.. Tan i please.. Talt to you? " She asked the only boy she wanted to talk to. Her eyes focussed on her shoe as she pointed the boy with her frail hand.
[Uh.. Can I please.. Talk to you? ]
The boy looked at his friends in amusement before jumping down the bike. "Fine." His friends turned to each other, having side eyes on her.
They went to a corner and she closed her eyes. Inhaling a deep breath, she spoke in one breadth as she forwarded the red rose. "I don't know why but I really lite you. I don't know why but my heart goes trazy just by your mere presence. I know you have a dirl, whom you really lite but she rejected you. So, I.. I thought I should confess this once, before leaving this school. I'm.. Sorry. "
[I don't know why but I really like you. I don't know why but my heart goes crazy just by your mere presence. I know you have a girl, whom you really like but she rejected you. So, I.. I thought I should confess this once, before leaving this school. I'm.. Sorry. ]
She didn't know why she said sorry? Was it because of that handsome face, that fought to laugh at her or at the fact that she just told him that he was rejected by his own crush.
As in cue, he could not control anymore and the laughter escaped his lips as he understood the nerd's wordings. Did she just proposed him? What in the world did she thought before proposing him?
"Ever looked at mirror? Girl, you are a walking freak and a speaking mess. Half of the time you speak, we have to work our senses to know what you are speaking. But i must say, for a nerd like you, you are quite brave. " He said, taking the red rose and examining it's fresh petals carefully.
Before throwing it and crushing it with his shoes.
"To propose someone who is out of your league, is not easy. I appreciate it but it would be better if you propose someone in your level. Maybe who stutter? It would be a deadly combination." He joked and walked back to his friends while shaking his head at her guts.
Tears gathered in her dull eyes, and she looked at the laughing group. He probably had told them everything and she felt the need of drowning in her own tears. It was the last day of her school. Today was last exam. Thus they will never meet again. She was thankful.
She wiped her tears, looking at her crushed rose- feeling the crushed feelings, and walked to the temple where she always prayed before taking any step. Temple of Lord Shiva. Bholenath! Mahadev! Healer of healers and destroyer of destroyers!
There her tears lost its path as she looked at Mata parvati, ganesha and kartikey sitting with the Shiva. The smile in parvati's face and her hand wrapped around her sons created a feeling of envy. How much she wanted to have a mother for herself, to protect her, to whom she could share everything. But who said life gives you everything you wish for?
She sobbed as she remembered the photo of her maa who died while giving her birth.
You're a bad omen.
You ate your mother. You will never be in peace.
You ruined my doll, God will ruin your life.
You're a peice of shit, a burden on earth.
No one can ever love you. Who will, anyway, like a pig with ruined throat.
Memories were triggered. She fell down in her knees as she let her tears out. She cried and cried and cried.

Sebastian I hadn't stopped to notice before, I was too caught up in catching the Thompsons. It was so obvious, I thought James might notice it too.I waited for James to say something when he got closer. He didn't which meant he hadn't noticed anything."Leave us." I sent him out before his senses overwhelmed his excitement for revenge. He looked startled at first but dropped the box and bowed then left."I don't know what you're talking about. B….b…believe me. Please." Tyler continued crying, wiggling in his chains as he begged.I do not trust Thompsons.I made that mistake once and regretted it since then. I wasn't going to make the same mistake. They were liars just like every other human out there. However, something about Tyler's pleas sounded genuine.I could zero down him not putting on Elder wood to protect himself one day as a mistake but he repeatedly neglected wearing the damn thing. It couldn't be a trap set by his family to lure us, could it?It could but at the same tim
I coughed, looking around.I had woken up in what looked like a torture dungeon, shackles and weapons being the theme of the room.I wasn't alone in the room.He was here with me. He seemed taller than I remember. His hair covered his face, hiding the true magnitude of the rage in his expression. The dark twisted look in his eyes promised nothing short of pain. His fist tightened so that I could see the threat of his well-built muscles coiling in his body. One second he was standing far away from me, the next he was gripping my wrists and chaining them in the shackles hanging from the ceiling."It wouldn't have been fun had I done this while you were unconscious, you know?" Malice dripped from his voice. I was speechless with terror, barely managing to breathe. When he grabbed my chin roughly forcing me to look into those terrifying red eyes, I forgot to breathe."Y….y…. You're a vampire?" I still didn't want to believe that the man I had come to like was a vampir
A whole month had passed since Sebastian took over as History teacher. We had that date and many more others. I stopped having the weird dream and life at school became better. Luke and his friends were reported missing a few days after they had mysteriously disappeared. Whenever I tried to think of what could have happened to them, I never came up with something logical so I dropped the issue. At least, they wouldn't be a bother to me any longer. My parents strongly believed that something had killed them. Whatever this "something" was, they didn't care to explain more to me. All they did was give me a curfew and force me to wear the bracelet which I took off before leaving the house everyday. "Sebastian?" I took a bite from the bread, moaning as the creamy flavor and chocolates melted on my tongue. One thing I've realized was Sebastian was perfect. Not just perfectly looking but perfectly everything. He was perfect at cooking, teaching and even kissing. We weren't dati
The wide grin on his face sent shivers down my spine.Everyone seemed lost in his beauty, too lost to notice how he grinned at me.Or was I imagining things? He looked exactly like the man with the beautiful hair from my dream yet, he looked different from him.The man from my dreams had hair as dark as this man but while his was decorated with crimson, this man's was not. Also, the man from my dreams had eyes as red as blood but this man had emerald eyes instead.Excluding those features, they looked exactly the same.I didn't have enough time to think about why this man looked like the one from my dream as a loud uproar of claps had filled the air. Finally breaking eye contact with me, the new History teacher bowed curtly and took more steps into the classroom.Just that short walk from the door to the board would beat an entire runway of models. So impeccable, so elegant."Thank you for the warm welcome." Deep, rich and velvety, his tone was like the gentle caress of the Su
I woke up the next morning with a headache but that wasn't what concerned me.Something else had happened in my dream last night, asides seeing that man's hair.He had said something to me and looked at me but I could not remember what he said nor could I remember what he looked like. One thing was for sure though, his voice had surpassed my expectations. Replaying his voice in my head, my morning erection worsened to a painful state.Even though I could not recall what he had said, I could never forget the honeyed warmth of his voice.Just when I thought watching his hair would be my favourite part of my dream, his voice proved me wrong.I put my legs together, trying to stop my growing erection but that didn't work.I tried to stop recalling his voice but I couldn't. It had chosen a permanent spot in my head and wouldn't go away. "Mmphmm." I whimpered when I felt precum on my finger. My eyes went wide open when I realized what I was doing.I gasped, staring at the mess I
Sweat dripped from Tyler's forehead as he quickened his pace. The deserted street seemed to stretch on forever."Thompson!" Luke's voice sent a shiver down Tyler's spine. Scared of what he might do if he caught him, Tyler broken into a sprint immediately."Help!" He screamed, his backpack bouncing against his shoulders. His voice echoed off buildings but no one responded.Tyler's breath caught in his throat when Luke's laughter closed in and rough hands pushed him to the ground."What is wrong with you Thompson? I never asked you to run, did I?" "P…. please." Tyler stuttered, scrambling to his knees."Why didn't you do my assignment?" Luke's kick connected with Tyler's side, sending him back to the ground."It was a project." Tyler corrected, wincing."Same thing, you little shit." One of Luke's friends slapped Tyler."All you had was one simple task, Thompson and you failed." Crouching to his level, Luke held him in an intimidating stare. "There were specific instructions not to
