“It’s fine.” I said with a wide smile. “I have been through worse. So this is nothing compared to what Mira had shown me.”

Zarek sighed and then dipped his hands in his pocket. “You will see them tomorrow.” He said.

I froze, acted like I didn’t hear what he said. “What did you say? I am sorry I didn’t hear what you said” I said, my voice barely above a whisper, my eyes locked on him.

“Goodnight.” He said and then walked away.

I jumped up in excitement. “He said I would see them tomorrow? Finally I would get to see my ex and his mistress.” I said and then giggled.

“What’s with the excitement?” I heard a voice break out and then I paused.

It was Leila.

I jumped towards her and then grabbed her hands. “Zarek said I would finally get to see Lucien and Mira tomorrow.”

She scoffed and then poured herself a glass of wine. “So why are you excited?”

I froze and then gestured my hand. “You know I have been dying to take revenge on both of them.”

She choked. “Revenge?”
