JASMINE

After the incident at the elevator, I could tell Blake was still mad. He didn’t say it out loud, but I knew. His jaw was tight, and he hadn’t smiled once since we left. I tried to ignore him. I sat beside him in the car as we left the office, but he didn’t even glance at me.

He was mad because I spoke in the meeting. But I didn’t care. I had to speak. They were trying to break him down, and I just couldn’t sit there. I had to do something. And besides who knew if it was a test to know if the marriage was really standing...like what Caldwell had made us do. What if the executives suddenly got this weird idea about it..."You know the wife was sitting with her husband while we bash him left and right, and she didn't bother to say a word in his defense."

If a word like this got out to the public, there was no way we were going to get off the hook so easily. And besides I always had a thing for bullies like the executive and I hate to watch people close to me insulted. Not like Blake was close to me but we were married and we've been living together for months so that made him close to me.

The car rolled through the city. The tall buildings flew by so fast, cars honked here and there, the sun was out. It felt warm, and the air outside looked nice. I looked at him and then out the window again.

We drove to a quiet area and I remembered there was a park somewhere around here. Suddenly my eyes stopped on something and I grinned. I saw a small ice cream truck parked by the road in the park area I was just thinking about.

“I want ice cream,” I blurted out without thinking.

He wrinkled his nose in disgust and something like awe flashed in his eyes when he glanced at me and then looked back at the road.

“Are you five?” he muttered.

I smiled widely. “Maybe. Can I still have it?”

He rolled his eyes. “Fine.”

Blake drove toward it and parked the car. Before we stepped out, he reached into the glove box and handed me a nose mask. “Put that on. We don’t need cameras in our faces. I am not in the mood to deal with it right now.”

I nodded, agreeing with him for once. “Yes, boss.” I mocked and he hissed.

We both wore our masks and stepped out. The man in the truck greeted us politely, not recognizing us. That was good.

“What flavor?” Blake asked, looking at the small board.

“Vanilla,” I said fast. “Wait, no. Vanilla and strawberry together. I want both.”

He shook his head. “You're worse than a kid.”

“Thank you,” I said with a big smile.

He ordered two plates. One full of vanilla, the other with strawberry.

We got back into the car, and Blake drove off again. This time, he didn’t go far. He parked near a quiet corner of the park. Trees stood tall around us, birds flew from one branch to another. The place was peaceful and empty.

We stepped out and found a small wooden bench. I sat fast and opened the vanilla first.

I didn’t even wait. I dove right into it. The taste was cold, sweet, and soft. I smiled and hummed a tune while scooping more into my mouth.

“This is so good,” I said to myself. I even closed my eyes.

Then I looked over at the strawberry plate in Blake’s hand. He hadn’t touched it. Without asking, I took it from him.

“Hey,” he said, watching me.

“I want both,” I said happily, ignoring the glare he was offering me. “Don’t be stingy, honey.”

I scooped a big spoonful of strawberry and dropped it on top of my vanilla. Then I mixed it, took another bite, and sighed.

I started humming again. A silly tune. Just something that came into my head. I bobbed my head side to side like a happy child.

When I finally looked up, Blake was staring at me. His mouth was slightly open. He looked... surprised.

“What?” I balked, frowning slightly.

He didn’t speak.

“What?” I asked again, then I realized what I’d been doing.

My eyes widened. “Oh my goodness,” I said. “I forgot you were here.”

I quickly covered my face with both hands. “Please forget what you just saw. Please pretend it never happened.”

I peeked through my fingers. Blake was still staring.

Then he chuckled, loud.

I narrowed my eyes. “Don’t laugh at me.”

He leaned forward and gently pulled my hands away from my face.

“Stop it,” I snarled, trying to pull back.

He kept holding my wrists. “Relax. I’m not going to tell anyone.”

“You better not,” I said. “If you tell even one person...”

“You’ll cut off my hand and send it to my father,” he said, finishing my line whilst rolling his eyes at me.

I pouted. “I’m serious.”

He smiled and reached forward. He wiped the corner of my lips with his thumb, where a little bit of ice cream had smudged.

Before I could even say anything, he licked his thumb.

My cheeks burned as I took on the unholy sight in front of me. Damn! I looked away fast as my cheek grew hot with red lining it.

He looked at me and smiled again. “You go red so easily. It’s kind of cute.”

I didn’t answer. I couldn’t even think straight.

After a long second, I turned to him and asked, “So... are you going to thank me now? For saving your back in that boardroom?”

He leaned back a little. “I don’t need saving.”

I gasped. “Excuse me?”

“I said I didn’t need saving,” he repeated. “But… I’m grateful you stood by me. Even with all the crap between us.”

I smiled a little. “So that means I’m forgiven for breaking your sit-down-and-smile rule?”

He looked at me thoughtfully, and then he breathed out the words I didn't expect after a while. “No.”

I raised a brow, surprise evident in my feature's. “No?”

“No,” he said again. “That doesn’t mean I won’t punish you.”

I felt bold now as he said those words. My mind snagged on a dirty thought and I leaned closer, my voice dropped a little. “Then punish me, daddy.”

He froze. His whole body stilled and eyes turned dark. I wanted to laugh at him but something else made me pause. He was staring at me and I could feel the heat pooling around us. I could feel it in the air. In the way he looked at me.

Without a word, he reached out and grabbed my waist. He pulled me into his lap.

I gasped, but I didn’t pull away. I giggled instead. My hands pressed on his chest.

“You’re crazy,” I whispered, sweetly.

He smiled a little. “You started it.”

I picked up my ice cream again and scooped a spoon. I held it in front of his lips.

“Open up,” I said.

“I don’t like ice cream, sweetheart.” he frowned.

I pouted. “Please. Just one bite for me, honey.”

He didn’t move.

“Just one,” I said again, making my eyes big like a child.

He sighed and leaned forward. ""Fine, I am going to take the ice cream but on one condition. I smear the ice cream on your lips and I lick it off. Do you agree, little monster?"

My gaze heated up instantly and I nodded, unable to say anything.

He scooped a portion of the ice-cream and smeared it all over my lips. I parted my lips in a sigh just as his lips merged with mine, sealing them in a slow kiss.

His hot tongue slaked out and licked the ice-cream off my lips. My heart was hammering wildly in my chest and I closed my eyes, getting lost in the feeling.

When he delved deeper and his tongue grazed mine, I tasted the cream mixed with his scent on his lips and I let out a breathy moan.

Blake pulled away and without breaking eye contact, he scooped another portion and rubbed it on my neck.

The cooling sensation took my breath away and caused a familiar heat to pool in my stomach.

Slowly, Blake leaned closer and kissed my neck, licking the ice-cream along as he went.

My hands reached forward and gripped his shoulders just as I tilted my neck to the side to give him more access.

“Blake.” I murmured breathlessly as I closed my eyes. The sensation, the feeling of his warm lips against my cool neck was heavenly.

A moan of protest escaped my lips when he pulled away but he only smirked and placed a quick kiss on my temple.

“I'm going to make it better,” he promised. His eyes were dark and heated with arousal when he unzipped my top and left it hanging by the waist.

Thankfully, the place where we were at the park was a bit secluded and Blake used his massive body to shield my petite one.

I was left in my bra and my breasts were round and swollen due to my heightened arousal.

He smeared another portion of the ice-cream on my breast, paying more attention to the line in between my boobs.

A little bit of the cool liquid trickled down and disappeared beneath my bra to my hardened nipples.

I jerked when I felt the coldness on my hot nipples. “Blake.” I moaned again.

He answered with a groan and dipped his head between the valley of my breasts, sucking and licking away every trace of ice-cream left.

“So sweet,” he murmured against my skin over and over again.

“Should I continue?" he asked slowly as he pulled away.

I was so turned on that I wanted nothing more than to feel his lips back on me, on every inch of my skin. So, I nodded.

He smiled and reached behind me, unhooking my bra swiftly.

My breasts popped out and I watched Blake look at me in sensual silence.

“Do you like what you see?” I teased and he sucked in a deep breath.

“Very much, sweetheart. You have no idea how sexy you are.”

He dived in for them almost immediately, sucking and nibbling on the precious buds.

My fingers found their way to his silky strands and I threaded them softly, arching my back to give him more access to my breasts.

He gave a bite to the soft flesh above my nipple and I dug my fingers deeper into his head as I squirmed beneath him.

The pleasure, the ecstasy, it was all becoming too much and if we weren't careful, we would both be naked in a few seconds if we didn't stop.

So when Blake asked me again if he should continue, I gave him a smirk and got dressed.

“You'd have to work for the next part,” I said with a wink as I zipped my blouse.

“Because this might be the only part you get to enjoy.”

And now who ended up being punished? Mr Blake.

Jasmine’s POVThe rain had slowed down, and the thunder was not so loud anymore. I was still in the living room, curled on the couch with my favorite blanket and a fantasy romance book in my hands. The title was Zodiac Academy. I had just gotten to the part where everything was getting heated — The Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac — and I couldn’t put it down. I was fully inside that world, far away from the thunder outside or the weird tension in this house.Blake stood up and stretched. He looked toward the kitchen and then back at me.“I’m going to check the power box,” he offered. “Maybe I can fix the lights.”I nodded without looking up from my book. “Go be a man, honey,” I said with a small smile. He rolled his eyes and walked off. I kept reading. My heart was still beating fast...not from the storm, but from the part of the book where the main character was surrounded by her enemies-turned-lovers. And the fact she wanted all of them, and not just one. I was thoughtful of how a norma

BLAKEI stared stupefied at her but got up anyway without dwelling much on her words. I jogged the few steps separating us and was beside her. I slipped my fingers into her arms as we walked slowly toward the car. Jasmine was still humming lightly beside me, holding the leftover ice cream cup. Her lips were slightly stained from the strawberry, and her cheeks still had that pink glow. She looked happy like a child who just got a gift from her parents. She even fixed her hair a little, and smoothed down her clothes. No one would ever know she had just been sitting in my lap a few minutes ago and playing dirty with me.I pressed the button from a far distance to unlock the car.We got forward and that was when I saw her.A woman sat on the hood of the car. One leg crossed over the other, a cigarette between her fingers. She was dressed in something tight and expensive. Her long legs were graved in a long heel, her round face was blessed with sunglasses. She had red lips and blonde hair.

Blake’s POV“This meeting is important,” I told her as we left the house. “All I need you to do is sit and smile.”Jasmine rolled her eyes. “I’m not a flower vase, Blake.”“I didn’t say you were,” I grabbed her hands and hauled her over to face me. My gaze fixed on her and she swallowed at the intensity of it. “But today, just act like one. Sit. Look pretty. Smile. That’s it. Don’t speak. Don’t even cough.”She raised her brow. “And if I do?”I looked straight ahead. “If you don’t behave, I’ll punish you. You know that.”She scoffed. “Touch me and I’ll cut off your hand. I’ll send it to your father, wrapped in one of your suits.” she said sweetly, batting her eyelashes at me And damn, if she didn't look cute but I won't let her face card deceive me.I burst out laughing. I shook my head as I opened the car door. “You’re becoming scary and sweet, little monster.”She climbed in with a smirk. “And you like it. Don't try to lie.”I flashed her a grin and got into the car. Jasmine’s POVI didn’t want to do this. I really didn’t.Standing in front of the mirror, I stared at my reflection. My hair was done. My face was painted with soft makeup. I wore the dress Blake had picked out for me a week ago. It was black. I was happy when he handed me the bag but I didn't show it. It was a backless, tight gown and it clung to every part of my body. I looked beautiful, yes. But inside, I felt cold. I didn’t want to go to this stupid party. I didn’t want to pretend to be in love with a devil. Not after everything Blake did. Not after the rain.I still remembered that night. The sound of the rain pouring. The way my body had shaken in fright, the way my heart had raced, and Blake...letting me out of the car like he didn't care. Like he hadn't seen what it was doing to me. He used it against me. He did it on purpose. And now, I had to smile and hold his hand in front of rich strangers?I had called Julia in the morning after I got to work, and told her about what Bla

So many times. She doesn’t reply. She doesn’t even look at me.During work day's, she goes to office very early, she refuse to reply to my tests and answer my calls.
