There's Something We Don't Know

Lucas and Audrey turned to see Deborah standing behind them with a smile. The most baffling thing was that they had no idea when she arrived.

"How long have you been here?" Lucas asked, turning to her fully.

Deborah flicked her wristwatch and stared at the time for a few seconds before raising her head again, "Three minutes. Just enough to kill you both and dump your bodies in the middle of the sea."

If she was trying to scare them, she didn't succeed as they just stared at her blankly.

"What are you doing here?" Deborah asked again, furrowing his brows in displeasure.

"I worked for your parents. Of course I had to attend your father's funeral." Deborah replied with a snicker.

"They gave you away. Frankly speaking, you don't look like you care about him." Lucas continued saying while Audrey watched silently.

"You're right." Deborah chuckled, "I came to be sure Queenie won't run with the medicine she purified. It's unfortunate that Mishael now has his hands on her."
