The Price To Pay

"Okay, enough of the talking, come here." He grabbed her and drew her closer to him by the hand. The sudden pull made her bump into his hard chest with her breasts. "Then get all the employees fired," Keith said, and Rex's expression fell.

"What! Comm’n Keith, that wasn't what I meant," Rex muttered, opening the office door for him.

Immediately they stepped into the office they saw Aunt Mary and Lillian waiting for them in the huge, elegant office. Instantly Keith's demeanor turned cold.

On seeing them Aunt Mary stood up with a grin as she said "Keith". Rex couldn't help but scoffed internally.

"How did you get in here?" Keith demanded coldly.

"Your sectary, let us in," Aunt Mary said with a casual shrug.

Keith shot Rex a stern glance. "Fire her," he ordered. Rex nodded curtly, without hesitation.

“You can't do that!” Aunt Mary protested, the secretary had only let them in when she threatened her with her job.

“She shouldn't be taking orders from anyone else but me,” Keith said sternly.

“This company isn't just yours Keith, it's for the family, so I have every right to come in here as I want.”

“Family business or not, I am the president so I have the authority to choose who enters or not. I don't owe you anything since you also have your benefits." Keith's words came harshly.

"Was that why you changed your bride without informing anyone?"

Keith's attention turned to the lady sitting quietly in her seat. That must be Lilian. He thought.

"See woman, like I said, I owe you no explanation," Keith remarked, moving his focus back to Aunt Mary.

"You do because the woman you got married to yesterday isn't the rightful one for you. This lady here is the one you're supposed to get married to Keith. We chose her for a reason."

You cannot go out there and marry one random girl with no family background.

But you see Lilian here her family's company will contribute additional resources to ours once we unite.

“If that is your worry then you don't have to because I can grow and enlarge the company without our family uniting with anyone except, he moved closer to Mary and whispered in her ears.

“There's something else that I'm not aware of.”

Aunt Mary gulped, careful not to overplay her hand, or Keith might become suspicious.

“If that's all I'd like to excuse myself.” Keith pushed past her.

"Can you at least tell your aunt who you married?" Mary pleaded, glancing at his back.

"Who I married is none of your goddamn business" Keith replied. "Now Leave, I have work to attend to."
