I leave the room leaving Jessi and Nathan alone, I can’t believe he bothered to investigate me. He doesn’t trust his father? And now I’m going to have to deal with his mistrust. He can’t be messing with my past or he’ll end up making my uncle find me. What am I gonna do?

She was head down when Sabrina came in.

"Hanna okay?" Sabrina

"Ah, more or less. I need a coffee, but I can’t leave here now I’ll wait for a friend to come out of there." I speak signaling Nathan’s room

"Our Laurinha told me she had a super cute guy with the boss and he was in a great mood. What happened?" Sabrina

"It was a trap." She looks at me confused." Literally. And the good handsome guy, he’s an old "friend" of mine." I speak making quotes for her to understand.

"Is it Jessi? Jessi McCartney?" Sabrina says smiling, of course she knows almost every story.

"It’s himself. It’s my first and only kiss." Say

"Laurinha is very distracted, how could she not recognize him from the tabloids?" Sabrina laughed.

"It seems like you don’t know the play, then I arrive knowing that there is a beautiful guy with a boss, but I’m surprised by him." say

Soon he leaves the room, Sabrina looks and widens her eyes without disguising that she was even more impressed to see the blonde tabloids face to face. She greets him and goes to Thiago’s room.

"What did he say to you? He said will you report us?" I ask

"He can’t do any of that, otherwise it would hurt his father too." Jessi speaks quietly

"But he doesn’t know that, does he?" Hanna

"You may know." Jessi

"Jessi not he can not, Sir Henry asked him not to know anything about it." I speak

"I know. But I don’t care, what matters to me is that he leaves you alone Hanna." Jessi

"You always helping me." A quick movie of the past passes in my head." But you don’t have to do it anymore, it was never your obligation and now much less.

"Hanna, I’m sorry. Nothing’s changed. My feelings haven’t changed. I... I need to sort things out but, I promised to come back to you and I will." Jessi

"I don’t understand Jessi. What do you have to do that needs to exclude me from your life? It doesn’t do that, it doesn’t say that I’m important, that it loves me and goes away." Hanna

"Hanna, one day you’ll understand everything. I just want to protect you." Jessi

"That’s what you say, but meanwhile I’m alone Jessi. Alone and in the dark." Hanna

"Hanna..." Jessi

"Jessi, if you don’t feel anything for me, that’s fine. Just tell me OK? I’ll follow my life, I’ll find another way. Laura needs a place to stay, and I like her. I won’t be alone Jessi, you don’t have to be stuck with me if you don’t want to." Hanna

"It’s okay I understand but, Hanna she can help you." He comes back and sits in the chair facing me looking to see if there’s anyone approaching." No need to be crazy to consult a psychiatrist, actually I prefer to go to a psychologist. They understand better, and help us understand better." Jessi

"Jessi that makes no sense." Hanna

He smiles as he didn’t say anything to anything.

"That’s fine, but for me it does. I’m just asking you to do it for me then, okay? Just so I feel more relaxed, that you’re taking care of yourself. Can you do it for me?" Jessi

"Alright, I’ll make an appointment as soon as possible. Better so?" I speak raising my hands in surrender form.

"Much better, see you soon?" Jessi gets up to leave looking like she took a load off her back.

He leaves and I wonder how someone like him can be so exaggerated, of course it was horrible everything I spent with my uncles no longer needs so much. Clara ran away with Rafa, and Jessi brought me to San Francisco with him, helped me to establish myself with the help of Lord Henry, who together made it seem cool my selection to work here in the company. Sir Henry does not seat anyone in favor of a hiring, and after denying several shareholders the chance to put a relative or friend within the company other than by the method of selection, he could not do this for me at Jessi’s request. Actually to this day I don’t know how Jessi convinced him to help me. I go back to work because I know I’ll have a long day.

Nathan overheard the first part of Hanna’s conversation with Jessi. Even when he said goodbye the first time, when Nathan thought Jessi was leaving he went back to his desk.
