My Pups needed to work, their superior intelligence, strength, and abilities had to be utilized or they would become dangerous Rogues, they could never be human pets. They would have hated the long periods of inactivity and eventually resented their families and I did not want to contemplate the consequences of that. I knew the Demons that lurked under my skin, I could control it but my Pups did not have that ability.

That power lay only in the pure-bred, me.

I would not allow my offspring to become a danger to the human race I was sworn to protect. Eventually, Mahina understood and accepted my decision it broke her heart when the Pups went to their new homes.
