Lunaya.

I walked next to Cleo’s wolf, a few steps behind Romeá. We were all silent. A few scattered howls echoed through the quiet forest, slowly getting louder as we got closer to the village.

“Are you not going to change back?” I asked Cleo. She looked up at me out of the corner of her eye and shook her large head.

“You prefer the form of your wolf” I said, not asking her, just stating the fact that I had noticed. Cleo has spent a lot of time in her wolf form. Coming down the mountain, at Lua Chei, around the village back at Luna Eclipse. She is almost always in her wolf form. She huffed and snorted and continued walking.

“You aren’t worried about not being able to change back? About becoming a Feral?” I asked looking down at her. She didn’t look at me or growl or huff or anything. After a moment she stopped walking and snapped her head back, then stood up on her human legs. She began walking again, coming in step with me.

“The wolf is who I am, not the human. The form of the wo

Lunaya.“And I will help you” she said with a nod. The response surprised me. I didn’t even know Cleo liked me. Yet here she was declaring her assistance should I go to war with the hunters. I stood silently staring at her, rethinking every harsh criticism I had previously had. I had no idea how to respond to her decree, so I just opened and closed my mouth a couple of times, before landing on a contemplative frown. Cleo watched me for a moment before shrugging and setting off walking again. I caught up to her and we both found Romeá waiting for us up ahead. The rest of the walk was silent. As we got to the village, it had been cleared of nearly half the crowd. The mess was slowly being cleaned up by multiple Weres, male and female. “I’ll go get something for you to wear” Romeá said over her shoulder before walking off through the tables and chairs. I looked around at the mess and the dishevelled appearance of a lot of the Weres. This party clearly didn’t turn out like they expected.

Lunaya.“Who the fuck are you?” he growled stepping closer. Elaine came to my side and hissed at the man's threatening stance. Romeá jumped forward, placing herself between us. She placed her small hand on the Weres large chest and held him still. “Gunner, this is Elaine and Lunaya, they have come to offer their protection to the Triple Goddess” Romeá spoke looking up to the face of the Were. “Ladies, this is the Alpha of Tri-Moon and my son, Gunner”. The Alpha. She is Mated to the Alpha. That means this is her Mate. He stood tall and strong. His white button-down shirt sat untucked and crumpled over his large muscular chest. His dark blonde hair was scruffy and a little long, coming down close to his shoulders. As I gazed over his handsome young face, I saw the remnants of a scar leading towards his ear. The skin was healed but had left behind what looked like a burn mark. His ear itself was missing the top section. A dark pink and jagged semi circle remained where the piece of fl

Lunaya. The woman, Romeá, led us on what felt like a wild goose chase through the thick of the forest. We walked for at least half an hour, the village and the party were long behind us. The roars of the male wolves and the constant howling rang through the trees until we were too far away to hear them. Whatever this girl did, it clearly had a lasting effect. I have heard of a few other daughters through our history that had similar effects on the male population, but nowhere near to this extent. This kind of reaction is off the charts. Such a large range of Weres, all of them spread out over an expansive space, and all suffering the same incredibly intense reactions. It was like she released her own chemical weapon. To cause such chaos, she must be the most powerful daughter since Selene herself. Soft screams could soon be heard through the forest up ahead. I picked up my pace, walking a few steps in front of Romeá now. A small hut slowly appeared through the trees, the screams were

Lunaya. The brown wolf and his men didn’t stop to take it in like I did, they barged their way through the madness towards the far end. I growled to Elaine and we quickly followed after them. We skirted around the large group, watching what was unfolding. One very muscular Were, covered in tattoos, was being held down by four she-wolves and one very large older man. His canines were fully extended, and he was in the early stages of the change. He looked completely out of it. In fact, he looked near feral. I cracked my head to the side and back again, enacting the change. I stood upright and snarled at the unruly men. “What the fuck is going on?” I growled. I walked into the crowd, Elaine and Phoebe now in their human form, stayed beside me. Cleo remained as her wolf and walked behind us. “I said, what the hell is happening here?” I screamed, catching the attention of a few women. A male growled and snarled at me, launching forward. I snapped my elbow out, colliding it with the male

Lunaya. No one else seemed to notice energy in the air, except Alyse, she noticed the change in me. What is it? I’m not sure, I think something is happening What kind of something? I don’t know, but I feel something strange Like a bad feeling? No, nothing like that, it’s an energy in the air I don’t feel anything I think it’s her. My child Do you really think so? I do. Something is going down Like what? There is magic in the air. The Goddess is around us. Alyse gasped audibly, catching the attention of Cleo. I looked around in the air. There is definitely something going on, some kind of force or power. A small breeze ruffled the trees and swirled across the road. It curled its way around my legs and up over my chest and neck. A soft whispered voice kissed at my ear, so quiet I almost didn’t hear it. ‘Our daughter’. My heart jumped and my stomach fell to the ground. That voice, that angelic celestial voice. It can only belong to one being. The Moon
