Chapter 4

What a rowdy way to approach women.

Elizabeth looked at him once with her unusually cold eyes and ignored him as if he wasn't worthy to talk to her. Well, in every way, that would be absolutely right.

"I'm done with it. I'll do the rest back in the dorms. Let's go?" She asked, and both Iris and Anya nodded, eager to get out of here.

What they didn't know was that Elizabeth had purposely approached them as she saw the malicious intention in their eyes, and she knew that they did not know how to protect themselves.

She secretly scanned over the whole area for CCTV cameras and was glad that there were none in this area.

Who knows what might happen.

And if something did happen, at least she didn't need to worry about many people being the spectators since there weren't many people to begin with, and judging from the people present here, they all knew one another.

The only outsider being the three of them.

"Where do you think you're going? Is this the way to respect your seniors?"

"Apologies." Elizabeth bowed down a little in response but made no attempt to stay.

"Stop." Robert walked towards Elizabeth and snatched the phone from her back pocket, squeezing her butt in the process, and all of them gasped at the action.

However, Elizabeth had a calm and serene look on her face.

"Robert fucking Charles!" William's thunderous voice rang through the court as he approached them, ready to snap his hand.

"Calm down you already got a warning! Mom will kill you if you get suspended." James Yang, his younger brother, held him in place, trying to calm him down, but he kept shooting daggers at Robert, regardless.

"Give me my phone back." Elizabeth's voice that rang, sounded colder than before, and her eyes even more colder, making Robert even shiver a little at the intensity.

Iris and Anya knew that their friend was very angry at this point but decided to stand beside her to show their support as she stood against the biggest bully.

"If you want it, you need to listen to your senior, beautiful." Robert tried to touch Elizabeth's face, but his hand was slapped away hard, by the water bottle that Elizabeth held in her hand.

"Won't repeat again, give back."

"Fiesty, huh? If you are going to be like this, then let's see how long you will last."

Elizabeth knew this would need her to get nasty so she casted a glance at her roommates who seem to understand her silent request as they being of similar height as Elizabeth, they stood very close to her, almost covering her along with Robert and his entourage.

Jane and Wendy understood it too and stood behind Elizabeth, appearing to cover her.

The men looked confused at to what was happening but they could see what was happening clearly from where they stood.

"Give it back." Elizabeth hissed this time, stepping closer towards Robert, who had a smug look on his face.

Kai Smith, Robert's bodyguard and his father's most trusted man, stood in front of Robert to shield him, but Elizabeth didn't care about any of the two.

However, she lost it when Robert gripped Anya's hand, trying to pull her closer towards himself.

With the side of her palm, Elizabeth Robert's arm so hard that it formed an instant bruise, making him wail in pain holding his arm.

That was when Kai Smith, Robert Charles's bodyguard and his father's most trusted man, held onto Elizabeth's arm very tight as If wanting to crush her wrist but it only angered Elizabeth more than hurting her as she hated to be touched by anyone.

What she abhorred more was someone not respecting other's boundaries and their values and here, she was more than willing to teach them a lesson.

"Do not touch me as you like." Elizabeth growled as she twisted her arms in his hold getting a stronger grip over herself and in one swift motion, she threw the bulky man over her shoulder.

Then, with all the raging anger in her body, she twisted his arm that had her wrist in his hold so hard, that it snapped with a loud sound making him groan in immense pain.

The people in the field all heard the terrifying snap of the bones loud and clear, and cringed at the feeling.

"Do not touch me or anyone without their permission." She repeated as a reminder, then stood up and gave a roundhouse kick straight to Robert Charles's jaw dislocating it with a pop and making him drop down in pain.

"Do not touch me or my friends and stay away from us." She growled, snatching her phone from Robert and kicked the two of them for one last time before walking out of the field, sparing nobody a glance.

She stopped after walking for a few steps only to wait for her roommates to join her.

As usual she did not fall into trouble but the trouble always finds its own way towards her as if having a mind of its own.

Shit!

Elizabeth thought as she cooked up a different ways to defend herself against her uncle if today's events reached his ears.

Just after a day she entered the university, disaster followed her. She had no idea who the stinky guy was nor why did he even have a bodyguard running around with him.

Gone! I'm totally doomed!

Elizabeth feared that she'd be forced to live home and all this freedom would be taken away from her.

They came out of their shock and surprise, running towards Elizabeth while Anya stayed glued to Iris's side still shaken from all the fiasco that had transpired today.

"Did...did she just break "The" Kai Smith's arm and break Robert Charle's jaw? Man i think i finally have a crush in college!" James said, making William glare at him.

"Stay away from her." He seriously warned his brother who gave him a confused look but nodded nonetheless. Agreeing was better than bringing forth the demon in his elder brother.

"Let's go back. It's been an eventful day." Christopher Harris, told his best friends William and Leon Brooks.

They both nodded and walked off with Christopher, leaving the rest still in shock and awe.

The events after that day on the field changed a lot of things tremendously for Elizabeth.

People started giving her wary looks, while some looked at her with admiration for standing up against the school pervert.

However, Elizabeth and her new friends didn't care about their surroundings much nor what others thought and viewed them as.

Elizabeth could feel herself grow more comfortable around her two roommates but she still couldn't shake off the scene she and Iris witnessed after coming from the fields that day.

As soon as they reached the apartment, Anya had run towards the bathroom, not even bothering to close the door after her and they could clearly hear her vomiting before they heard the sound of the shower turning on.

Confused and clearly worried, they reached the door only to find Anya trembling and her hands shaking as she stood below the warm water and rubbing her arm as hard as she could but they knew she wasn't crying.

She was engaged and disgusted beyond explanation.

However Anya didn't seem to feel the water temperature go up almost scalding her skin very badly had the two not interfered at that very moment.

They had to calm her down and stop her from peeling her skin off, from the way she had been rubbing at them.

They had to be gentle with her not to irritate her already red skin more and had taken her to the campus hospital where her slight burns were treated and she was sedated.

Both Iris and Elizabeth were shaken up by Anya's behaviour and had different emotions going through their mind regarding why she had supposedly gone through a panic attack to that extent.

Iris looked extremely worried while Elizabeth was calm and cold and the anger in her was burning in cold fury.

She knew what had triggered it she could deduce that much seeing the events of the day and silently promised herself to always protect and be there for her two friends.

Defenseless people always were targets since ancient times and those traits haven't changed at all in people at this age as well. So she was determined to help them so that they wouldn't be left defenseless in the future.
