An Error

Kira stared at the elderly man in front of her with uncertainty. his expression was one of tiredness, She could make out the heavy eyebags and disheveled appearance. if she didn't know better she would think he looked more like a criminal than the headmaster of a prestigious School. the man's gaze ran over the stack of papers that were placed in front of him.

" your name is Killian?" the headmaster asked finally looking up at Kira. Kira opened her mouth to say something but no words came out. she didn't know how this man could ask her such a question. taking just one good look at her one would know that she was a woman, so how could he possibly assume that her name was Killian?

"Does she look like a Killian to you?" Shane was the one who spoke up. he was eyeing the headmaster with a distasteful expression on his face. this man was honestly too useless to even be called an Alpha not to talk of a principal. since the mad pact was a school for criminals, even the headmaster who handle the affairs of the school wasn't normal himself. there was a lot of mystery surrounding the headmaster, some even rumored that the man had murdered both his wife and children. no one knew, just that the headmaster was by far stronger than most of the alphas in the school. so despite them not liking him they still had to obey his orders. Shane had to be the only alpha male who would stand against the headmaster, or even dare to talk to him in such a manner. " in case you haven't noticed she is a woman"

" Hm, strange indeed. it says here in your files that you are a man, and that your father is the alpha of the Blood Moon pack. are you saying that this is not true?"

" No sir. I come from the Blood Moon pack, but my father is not the Alpha. I am barely considered a member of that pack. "

" if that's the case then I have two possible explanations for this. the first one is that you have been framed, and someone is using you as a replacement for someone else. whoever this Killian is he must have committed a crime that is deserving of such punishment. perhaps the alpha of the Blood Moon pack has a connection to the mad Pact, he was able to make you take the blame for his son. the other reason is highly unlikely. perhaps you might be a man who is dressed as a woman and you are indeed the Killian who we talk about. so which one is it? " the headmaster stared at Kira expectantly. she could see the deep amusement in his gaze.

Kira didn't share his sense of humor. at the moment her heart was beating painfully in her chest. she couldn't believe that alpha colin would do this to her. she had always looked up to the man with great affection because she had thought that he was her father's best friend before. she had been foolish enough to think that he only wanted the best for her. but she would have never expected that he was using her to cover up for his son. he had sent her to this dreadful place without even thinking back. was she so unimportant to him? had he truly never cared for her?

Kira felt like crying at the moment. the one person who she had trusted with all her heart had ended up betraying her so painfully. To think she had been convinced that the alpha was sending her here for her good when the truth was he was sending her to her death. she had almost gotten raped by a pack of alphas just a few minutes after arriving. who knows the kind of horrible things she would encounter in the future. no matter what, she couldn't stay here.

"Please, you have to get me out of here. I promise I didn't do anything wrong "

" it is not that easy. your documents have already been stamped by the Lycan King. despite it not being your files your name is still registered here, unless you have someone powerful to stand on your behalf, there is no way you can get out " the headmaster said with a shrug.

Kira felt like she was suffocating at this moment. hearing that she wouldn't be able to leave this place until the Lycan King approved it made her feel hopeless. The Lycan King was the overall ruler of all wolf packs in the region. even if Kira had her freedom she knew that there was a high chance she would never encounter such an important person in this lifetime. and it made matters worse that she couldn't get out of here. this place that was filled with Violent Alphas who wouldn't hesitate to tear her apart. as the only luna here, who knew what her fate would be?

" T..then can I live with the staff or you? I don't want to be alone with those...those " just the thought of having to live among Alphas made a shiver run down her spine. she had seen the blood Lust In Their Eyes, the way they looked at her like she was a prey they were ready to pounce on. and the fact that no one had intervened made her realize that this place was more dangerous than she had thought

" all students here are required to remain in the dorms. I cannot break the law, I am truly sorry. but thankfully you have Shane here to protect you. Right Shane? "

" do I look like a f****** bodyguard to you? if she was so stupid to find herself in a place like this then she better know how to survive on her own " Shane said while turning around and exiting the room

" well, go after him. He's your best chance at surviving here " 

Kira nodes at him and hurriedly follows Shane. she pulled the jacket which was her only coverage closer to her naked body. Shane had already walked a Distance when he noticed that someone was trailing after him. he doesn't even need to look back to know who exactly it was. maybe he had made a mistake rescuing this woman, he hadn't thought she would attach herself to him like a leech. to be frank, he didn't feel any sympathy for her, it was her stupidity that had landed her in this situation. he just didn't like the thought of seeing a woman being raped right in front of him, so he intervened. but he had no intention of helping her further.

" stop following me " he growled at her in annoyance. Kira flinches back at the command but soon resumes her Pursuit. the Halls were empty now so she knew the rest of the school was gathered somewhere, probably still in the front yard of the school. the headmaster hadn't done much to help her. he hadn't given her a key, he hadn't told her which classes she would be taking, hadn't even told her which room she was to be staying at. God knows what might happen if someone found her wandering around the halls like this. she was half-naked, tired, and scared. Kira needed help, and the only person she trusted to help her was Shane.

" I don't know what else to do" 

" try following someone else" 

" so I can get raped and murdered again. thanks a lot"

Shane stopped walking in favor of giving her a dirty look. Kira quickly shut her mouth. she didn't know why she had suddenly said such a thing. she usually wasn't one to act out, but it seems the events of today had gotten to her. her body was feeling very sore and painful and she had bruises from where the alphas had handled her harshly. " I am sorry. but please don't leave me alone " her eyes became blurry with tears.

Shane rolled his eyes at her tears. he barely looked affected by them. when he turns around to leave Kira was certain that he was going to leave her behind, that he wouldn't care what happened to her. Shane however glanced over his shoulders at her " come along then "

she felt relief wash over her as she hurried after the Alpha.
