Does she hate me ?

I paced in my room, thinking about what to do. This must not carry on. She's just a lowly omega and a maid for that matter. Why should I feel intimidated by her now? I must not let this happen. There has to be a way to stop her from getting too close to the Alphas.

I heard a sharp knock at my door. As soon as I realized who it was, I remained still and browsed the internet about ways to keep a maid busy with chores.

"Miss Vanessa, are you in?"

I didn't say a word but continued with what I was doing. She can't be that dumb. Even though she's an omega, she should be aware that not replying after a knock means going away, but in her case, she should come in.

Just then, the door to my room flew open, slowly. I took a quick glance at the door, only to see Tihana or whatever her name was, peeping through.

"Miss Vanessa, I'm here with the coffee you asked for."
