Vanessa

Vanessa’s POV

As I drove towards the Alpha brothers' house, my heart was pounding with anticipation. I couldn't stop thinking about Theo and how much I wanted to confess my feelings for him. I had been crushing on him for months, but I never had the courage to tell him how I felt. Today was the day I was finally going to do it.

As I approached the front door, I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Theo standing in front of me. "Hey Vanessa," he said with a smile.

"Hi Theo," I replied nervously. "Can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure, come on in," he said, opening the door.

As we walked into the living room, I couldn't help but notice how quiet it was. Normally, the Alpha brothers' house was filled with laughter and music, but today it was eerily silent. "Where is everyone?" I asked, trying to break the tension.

"They're all out right now," Theo said. "It's just me and Tihana."

"Tihana?" I repeated, confused.

"Yeah, she's our maid," Theo explained. "She's been with us for some couple of months now."

I nodded, still processing the fact that there was another girl in the house. For some reason, I had always assumed that I was the only girl close to the Alpha brothers. Now that I knew there was someone else, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy.

But my thoughts were quickly pushed aside when Theo turned to face me. "So, what did you want to talk about?" he asked, his eyes locking onto mine.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves. "Theo, there's something I need to tell you," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I've had feelings for you for a long time, and I just couldn't keep them to myself any longer."

Theo's expression softened, and he reached out to take my hand. "Vanessa, I had no idea," he said, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on the back of my hand. "But I have to be honest with you. I don't feel the same way."

My heart dropped at his words, and I felt tears prickling at the corners of my eyes. "I understand," I said, my voice trembling. "I just needed to tell you how I felt."

Theo pulled me into a hug, and I buried my face in his chest, feeling a mix of emotions. I was relieved to have finally confessed my feelings, but I was also heartbroken that they weren't reciprocated.

As we pulled away from each other, I couldn't help but notice how close Tihana was standing behind us with an unreadable expression holding a glass of juice.

As soon as Theo introduced Tihana to me, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she was. Her golden-brown hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, and her eyes were a stunning shade of amber. However, I couldn't help but wonder why she was working as a maid, even though I could sense from her scent that she was an omega.

Tihana tried to be friendly by offering me a handshake, but I was too preoccupied with my own thoughts to reciprocate. Instead, I found myself staring at her with an irritating glare. I could tell there was an unusual connection between Theo and Tihana. I couldn’t understand why Alpha Stone would hire an omega this beautiful as a maid for the brothers.

However, my hopes were dashed when I saw Tihana sitting across from us, looking timid and shy. It was clear that she was an important part of the Alpha family, and I couldn't help but feel threatened by her presence.

As the evening wore on, I noticed that Tihana was extremely skilled at taking care of the brothers' needs, from bringing them snacks to fetching drinks. She was always polite and efficient, never once complaining or showing any sign of frustration.

I, on the other hand, was struggling to make any kind of impression on Theo. He seemed more interested in staring at the direction of Tihana and talking to his brothers than paying attention to me, and I found myself feeling more and more frustrated with each passing minute.

I had always looked forward to spending time with the Alpha brothers during the holiday periods, and this time was no exception. Being the daughter of my father's best friend, I had grown up with the four brothers, and over the years, I had developed a special connection with Theo. I had always been too shy to confess my feelings, but this time, I was determined to let him know how I felt. However, when I arrived at their home, I couldn't help but feel intimidated by Tihana's beauty. She seemed to have a close bond with the brothers, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was competing with her for Theo's attention. Despite my insecurities, I tried to focus on my time with Theo. We went for walks, watched movies, and even cooked dinner together. But as the days went by, I couldn't help but feel frustrated. It seemed like Theo was more interested in spending time with Tihana than me. One evening, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to know what was going on between Theo and Tihana. I asked Theo if I could talk to him, and when we were alone, I mustered up the courage to ask him what was going on between them. To my relief, Theo told me that there was nothing going on between him and Tihana. He saw her as a maid and treated her like family. His words gave me hope, and even though he didn't confess his feelings for me, I knew that he cared about me. From then on, I tried to enjoy my time with the Alpha brothers without worrying about Tihana. I had finally confessed my feelings to Theo, and even though things didn't turn out the way I wanted, I knew that he cared about me. And for now, that was enough.
