9. Finally Free?

“And so?” Came Daniel's reply that sent my jaw falling to the ground. Did he just say 'and so?' After killing a living being?

“You really need to cut your pride, Prince. Meet me or I'll send the video to your father. Or maybe to the whole pack,” the automated voice replied and Daniel let out a grunt.

“Location?”

“I'll send it to you when you begin the journey. See you soon, Prince,” the voice said and hung up. I expected Daniel to curse, yell, or get furious but instead he laughed, a laugh I hadn't seen in a long time and I guess I now knew what it meant.

“Like I said Lucienne, the plan of you and the universe will crumble. I will have you, no matter what. But for now, I have to go teach a mouse a lesson,” he chuckled and grabbed his shirt before snapping the key from my trembling hands.
