Chapter 9

Beatrix knocked on miss Lorena's door. It wasn't closed but she had to announce her presence.

Miss Lorena sat at her table, her head buried on some white papers on the desk, she seemed to be busy; then why call her in, Beatrix wondered.

"You asked that I meet you in your office" she said when miss Lorena didn't look at her direction nor answer her when she knocked.

"Come in" she raised her head and gave Beatrix a scornful look; she didn't seem pleased to see Beatrix.

"Thanks" Beatrix's sarcasm was obvious and she took her seat. Miss Lorena was too busy with the papers on her desk; taking a quick glance at them and then at her laptop.

After few minutes, she was done and she cleared her throat, adjusting on her chair. Miss Lorena was silent, trying to keep Beatrix in suspense.

Of course, she succeeded but it wasn't something new to Beatrix.
