NEWS

You don't even have the mental capacity to decide what you're going to do?" my mother exclaimed. I'm looking down at my feet. I'm unable to look at her. I'm terrified. I was close... Despite the fact that I was on the verge of death, I am still in my room. As soon as she received the news, my mother exclaimed to me. I wanted to speak up and tell her what had happened, but she seemed skeptical.

How was I going to defend myself? Tears will not spontaneously appear in my eyes now. I'm exhausted. My body is exhausted.

"You can't talk because I'm right! You just want our attention and you didn't even think about how we'll react when we hear the news about you!" she said again, causing me to close my eyes.

"Mom, please stop it. Nicole is bleeding; do I need to call for a doctor?" my twin sister pleaded softly. I look down at my foot since I'm instantly in pain there.

"No, dear, don't worry about it; this is her punishment for going out in this mansion!" my mother yelled angrily. I noticed how worried my twin was looking at me.

"But, mum," my twin pleaded, "she's bruised. Let's do something about it." But this time, Mom might not only want to listen to my twin.

"No, she's old enough to understand that this is a serious problem! Change into something more formal! We're going to a meeting with the board members," my mother told my twin, and they left me here. Should I be grateful that my mother treats me in such a way that it is not appropriate? My gaze is drawn to the room's ceiling. Although I am not in prison, I feel as though I am in a chamber that is worse than being there. I took out my phone and dialed our family doctor's number.

"Yes? Miss Nicole, what can I do for you?" she inquired. Before telling her what she needed to know, I closed my eyes. I understand her because I know my mother would never care about my existence. I know she'll be furious if she finds out about this, but I don't have a choice. If I am not healed, I will run out of blood. After an hour, our family doctor arrived with her belongings. I gave her a kind grin.

"What did you do this time, child? Please stop being harmed; you know it's bad for your health," she counseled, her face filled with concern.

"I'm sorry, Dr. I'm always trying to figure out what's the greatest time to travel at, but look what I've got. This was simply a mistake, and I won't do it again," I assured her, but she only laughed at me.

"How can you be so sure, huh? You're constantly in danger, but I'm curious why your twin never approaches me. I guess she's always looking after herself. You, too, Miss Nicole," she whispered softly. I stare at her while she tends to my bruised foot.

She was always there for me when I needed medical help the most. I owe her gratitude. She stands up and looks at me after a few moments.

"Don't stand up yet, okay? Your foot is terribly damaged. I'll tell one of the maids to just give your food here so you won't have to walk downstairs. I'll be leaving right now. Don't forget to take your medicine, okay?" she said with a smile. I express my gratitude and she exits the room. I sigh heavily. What am I supposed to do now?

Oh, my goodness! I had forgotten about the difficulty I needed to address. I take out my phone and dial my twin's friend's number, who has messaged me to inform me of the situation that my twin has caused. She eventually answered after three rings.

"Why?" said the other line, which caused me to blink several times. "Oh, I forgot to tell you that we're just having fun. Forget what I've told you, dear. It's just a prank." What the hell is going on? I simply forced myself to come in here for a game? Oh, my goodness! I thought something had happened, but I am a complete moron.

I check my phone. I lie down in my bed and reflect on all I've gone through as a result of my rash decision. I then decided to look through my phone and go on F******k. While scrolling, I come to an abrupt halt when I see myself, or rather, my twin, making out with some random guy at the pub. They're kissing as if they've been missing each other. The dude is holding her butt like if it were a magnificent holder. What the hell is going on? Is this a real person? Oh, my goodness. What is going on with Elizabeth?

I notice a lot of cameras where they are a few moments later. It appears that they are recording them. While glancing at the camera, my twin is giggling. When I heard her speak, my brows wrinkled.

"No, bhabe. My name is Nicole Ashanti, and you can call me honey," my twin says casually. She introduces herself as me. I wanted to scream at her right now for what she's saying, but I keep my calm and monitor what's going on. They're obviously at the pub. Because her mother is not present, she is free to do whatever she wants.

"Oh really? Elizabeth has a twin sister? Why haven't we heard about it?" the press screams. My twin already appears to be inebriated. Oh, my goodness! What am I supposed to do? I'm certain that once Mom finds out, we'll both be doomed.

"That's why I'm always out of town," she explained, laughing. "You know, I was kicked out of the country because of my twin sister, who can't focus on building her career when I'm here." In the F******k live, I stare at her. What exactly did she say?
