Chapter 54 - His Home
Everyone looked so happy and was smiling, so obviously, he was grinning back at them, despite his confusion.
"Correct me if I'm wrong," Cailen said, still smiling as he turned to Asher. "But this looks like a party."
Asher grinned at him, hooking his fingers in the waistband of his scrubs and pulling him close, wrapping him in his arms again.
"You didn't really think I wouldn't want to celebrate your birthday, did you?" Asher asked, pecking him on the lips.
Cailen could see everyone closing in around them from the corner of his eyes and knew he was about to give out a million and one hugs. Not that he really minded.
Asher winked at him before stepping back and giving space to the people who want to greet him. Not a minute passed and he was being engulfed in a hug with Hazel.
Hazel wished him a more personal 'happy birthday' to which he replied with a kind 'thank you'. Matt
