Chapter 44: Intimacy - Amelia
Heading back to my suite, I take a breath when I reach the door; bracing myself. I push it open and sitting on the half circular sofa while watching something on the TV is my animai, looking clean and handsome as ever. The delicious combination of his caramel scent and the smell of food wafting in the air have me salivating, and I’m not sure which one I’m hungrier for.
“I know which one I want more,” Zara says while licking her chops. I just roll my eyes at her.
Marcus’ head turns to me as soon as I enter and the brightest smile spreads across his face. I make my way down the stairs and keep my eyes open hoping to find a few particular familiar faces. I wander around the packhouse until I end up in what looks like an entertainment room.
