Chapter 45: Shocking Revelations - Amelia

With our hands clasped we walk down the hall to my office as I link Vitali, Tyson, and Chris. It’s a good thing I love these guys so much or seeing them so often would get old really quick. I let us into my office and as soon as we step in I feel Marcus go stiff beside me. I look up to see a sad look on his face while his brows are pinched together.

“Marcus? What’s wrong?” I gently ask moving closer while rubbing his hand, letting our bond soothe him, even if it’s not fully in place yet.

“The first and last time I was in here I said some fucked up shit that nearly made me lose you forever. The memory just caught me off guard was all,” he says looking down with a sad smile.
