Christiana slowly turned with her legs and hands trembling, only to see Damien standing before her, his brows pinched in anger. He had a towel wrapped around his thin waist and his hair was still drippy wet indicating he just got out of the shower.

"What the fuck are you doing here? " He demanded. Christiana went stiff and the book she was holding fell off her hand. Damien saw the book and his face squeezed up in an ugly scowl.

"I warned you, Christiana. I told you, you would get caught but you refused to heed my warning "

"Well, the initial plan was to take a peek and leave. But then your stupid self went ahead and started reading a novel. I definitely don't have a hand in this " Yep, that was Christiana's two sides of mind talking to her.
