JUST A PEEK, THEN LEAVE

The ride home was even worse. Christiana wouldn't stop playing with and fondling her fingers. She stylishly glanced at Damien and looked away almost immediately. This she kept doing all through the ride, hoping that Damien would finally say a word. His silence and the speed at which he was driving was making Christiana nervous and nauseous.

What was going on in this man's mind?

Ok... She knew she fucked up but will he say something already?

The car halted when they finally got home and Christiana didn't need anybody to tell her to get out of the car. Just one glare from Damien was enough to make her understand. Christiana refused to move. She didn't know whether entering the mansion at that moment will worsen the situation.

Damien walked past her into the mansion and Christiana followed suit without question. All the servants bowed and greeted them as they made their way upstairs. Damien finally got to the door of Christiana's room and stopped.
