LOCATION
I watched Geno talking with the young woman with natural henna hair. He handed her a box which was wrapped with a newspaper, which she got excited after opening it. She gave him a hug, almost knocking him off his bicycle.
“You are awake?” Rosie’s voice asked.
I shifted my eyes toward her.
“Umm,”
She poured the hot water from the kettle beside me inside her mug. Her skinny hands took one of the clean tea spoons from the bowl, and poured three spoons of sugar inside her mug. Something about her presence was unbearable. I placed the cup of tea on the sink and headed for the door. Before I could step out she said, “Trusting Charlie is like trusting a man,”
I felt my body tense. “She’s trouble, trust me I know,” She walked pass me heading to Eight who had stepped out his room rubbing his eyes.

THREE MONTHS LATEROPENING SEASONThe view of the white curtains swaying with the wind caught the attention of my barely opened eyes. RECONCILIATIONHendrik stood before me with Mesmick’s head on his hands. A loud laughter escaped his lips which sounded identical to Ten’s.“NO!” I yelled running toward him.Walls started closing in on us, until I could no longer see him. I rapidly peeled my eyes open gasping for air. I ran my eyes around the empty neat room. It had been a bad dream. My eye suddenly caught the sight of the few pictures hung on the broken dresser.Each picture reviving the memory of that moment. That is when I remembered that I had lost the picture with the four of us. To be honest I had thrown it after I had moved to the 36 street. It had suddenly caused me pain instead of comforting me.I moved my leg off the bed, pulled my crutches. I needed to go, I needed to find Kalo and Eight. I forced my body up but my weak body went tumbling onto the floor. I felt electric-shocks run on my body. A sharp scream shot out.
