I placed my bag on the couch, realizing I was in for a longer day than I had expected. First off, Hazel with was with me. She had driven straight home with me from school. I had let Becca go all by herself so I drove back with her.
"Can you believe the energy of this guy?" She sat crossed leg on our sofa and typed aggressively on her phone.
I was terrible at making snacks as was generally known but I wasn't ready to let her slip without having to eat something. "What guy?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Justine?" Caramel stared wide- eyed at him. She turned to look at me, her hands on her waist, even though she was referring to him. "What are you doing in here?" I met Hazel waiting downstairs. She had been pacing around the room, obviously in a disordered mood. I took my phone tothe camera app. I felt the need to capture the moment in case I needed it in my defense. I zoomed in on them both and made sure their identities were clear. As soon as I had confirmed they had not noticed my intrusion, I turned around to leave. "Why would you even think I made this up?" I pulled free from his grip, giving him an evil eye. "It wasn't even a minute after you left that I witnessed this." A beeping sound followed the effect of her harsh contact with my skin and darkness clouded my eyes. It took a few victorious blinks to return to my senses.I found myself unable to put my hand down.
