Chapter 66: Confession
The sun came down but Caleb was still not home. Bea insisted that she pick him up but Callum stopped her. He would not tolerate what the child did. Even if he was young, it was still unforgivable. Especially what he did to his mother.
But night came and Caleb was still not home. Bea was worried about her son. She could not rest well knowing that the child was still not home.
“Just let him be for today.” Callum tried to assure her. “He was in Carson’s house so he would be just fine.”
“No. He’s not fine. Have you seen him earlier? He was emotionally hurt. We need to get him!” Bea cried.
Callum sighed. Was this a part of her pregnancy? She was being overly sensitive.
“Please pick him up. Let me talk to him,” Bea pleaded.
