Chapter 6

"I said you're not allowed to enter my room without my consent. You still need to knock." Sashi is crossing her arms while scolding the ghost Clark.

"Because what if  I am changing my clothes, huh!" She added but Clark only gave her a pout.

"I can't knock, I'm a ghost." He reasoned out but Sashi just rolled her eyes.

"Then call me first before you enter. God, this is so unfair, what if you're just around but not showing up." Sashi added in disbelief.

"It's not that I am going to enjoy watching your bod-"

"Wahh! Shut up! Get out now! I can't believe you." Sashi immediately cut him off.

The ghost Clark chuckled because of her reaction.

"You know what, if only I can touch you, I will going to punch you 'til death!" She exclaimed before pointing the door for Clark to get out.

"Sashi, is there something wrong? Why are you shouting inside?"

Sashi heaved a sighed when she heard her Mom asking. She shake her head before giving an answer.

"It's nothing, Mom. I was talking to the cockroaches here. They are so annoying."

The ghost Clark laugh so hard because of her reason. She want to punch him because he is making fun of her.

The two of them already decided that they will let this week pass first before they proceed for another plans.

It is not easy to figure all this things out.

Clark became a ghost and he told Sashi that someone tried to kill him and it's not an accident.

Now, if Sashi going to tell anyone about this, for sure no one will believe her. This is so impossible but already happening.

"Okay, since we still postponing all of plans because we failed about getting the CCTV footages, I will tell you some things about yourself first."

The ghost Clark nodded about what Sashi said.

"Okay, you're already 19 years old. And we are about to graduate college already. You're the only son of Mr. Tan Miller from his first wife, Tita Teffi, but when your mother died because of an illness he married again. Tita Michelle Miller is your step mom and they already have a son named Adam, which is your step bro."

Clark's forehead furrowed because of what Sashi told her about his life.

"Wow, that's a little complicated." He said before scratching the back of his head.

"Well, yeah. But wait, huh. I am still adjusting about you being a ghost. So we need to set rules here, okay? But I need to finish telling you about your life first."

Clark nodded again.

"So, you already know that I am your childhood best friend. I know about your hobbies which is Basketball, eating, annoying me everyday, and of course I also know about your secrets in life."

Sashi smirked while sharing those things to him while he was just listening.

"Why don't we marry each other after I wake up, huh?" Said the ghost Clark.

Sashi's eyes widened because of what he said.

"Ow shut up! Maybe that's the effect of being a ghost." She replied while rolling her eyes.

She's inlove with Clark but for Pete's sake she's not going to take this as an advantage. He's a ghost!

"Honestly, when the first day I saw you I thought I have a crush on you. I can't remember anything but yeah you're such a cutie."

Sashi stared to Clark in disbelief. She didn't think that he will be so straightforward like this that he became a ghost.

"God, I can't believe you." She said in amusement.

"Why? I am just telling the truth. That's why I really wonder why we are just friends, when I first saw you I  thought you are my girlfriend or something."

"You know what Clark, stop it. Stop that."

Sashi looked away to hide her blushing cheeks. She's so sure that she's so red as a tomato now.

Sashi pouted before standing up to find something from her cabinet.

She grabbed a photo album from there and showed it to the ghost Clark.

She showed him a lot of photos of them together. Sashi, somehow forget her problems.

"I was just wondering why you can't remember anything about your life. That freaking angel ask you to solve your case so that you can go back to your body? But they did not want you to remember even a single detail of your life. How funny." Sashi said sarcastically.

"I don't know either." Clark pouted as he stared at Sashi's reaction.

"Hmm, what if I'll bring you somewhere that will trigger your memory?"

Sashi's face brightened because of her own idea but Clark shake his head.

"But it's not that you have some amnesia, someone literally took your memory from you. God! I can't believe this is happening right in front me. I thought all of this is just happening in movies."

The both of them can't think some shits anymore so Sashi decided to invite Clark to their hideout. She told him that it's a nice and a very comforting place. They used to go there ever since.

Sashi is wearing her usual long sleeve flowy dress partnered with her stringed sandals.

"C'mon, hurry."

Sashi's voice echoed when she called Clark. Sashi also stop from walking when he noticed Clark's face, it seems like he is amused about something, maybe because of the place but what's on earth that he is staring towards her direction.

Whatever. Sashi ignored her thoughts and continued from walking.

Behind Sashi's house is a river. But before finally seeing it you still need to encounter all the big trees and tall grasses that covering the place, because behind it is indeed a paradise.

Sashi immediately run when  she saw the very beautiful view of the place.

There's a thick grasses you can found before the river but it is so clean that you will think that someone is watching this place to keep it's cleanliness, maybe some Goddesses or something.

Sashi almost laugh about her thoughts. She can't believe herself that she believes about Goddesses, well, she can't even fully accept that she's with a ghost right now then she will think about Goddesses instead, she's going crazy.

"Wow, this place is paradise." Clark uttered in amusement.

"I can't believe that I forgot a beautiful place like this." He added.

"Well, you even forget this angel's face, how come you will remember a river than remembering my perfect face." Sashi said while pointing her face with her playful voice.

"Wow, such a feeler." Clark teased as he sat beside Sashi.

The grass are so comforting because of it's natural green color, unlike grasses from cities, people there despise grasses that whenever it's about to grow they will immediately cut them without thinking that it is one of the most precious thing that brings uniqueness on this world.

Human is full of cruelty. They can even end a person's life, how much more cutting an innocent grass without appreciating it's worth.

"What are you thinking?"

Sashi blink her eyes twice when she realized that the ghost Clark is calling her.

"I was just thinking that...ahm I mean why everything has its own ending? Why can't we stay here as much as we want to? Just like how grasses wants to live freely, color the world and find it's own worth, but they are the worth itself, anyway."

Clark couldn't help but to stare at Sashi even more. Teenagers like her usually always find the freedom they want, enjoy their lives and party all day. But Sashi? No, she is not like that. She is full of principles and beliefs in life.

She will love, but will never going to ask something in exchange.

She will help but never going to consider it as a debt from her because she gave it willingly.

"Am I really an asshole? How can I ignore someone like you when I was still awake? Damn."

Sashi's brows furrowed as she stared to the ghost Clark. She can't understand him. Is there something about her that he dislikes?

The next day is Sashi's schedule to visit Clark in the hospital.

"We are going to visit, you." Sashi said as she lifted her gaze towards the ghost Clark who is staring to her.

"Ugh, that is so weird. I will visit myself." The ghost Clark laugh because of the idea he is thinking.

Sashi arrived to the hospital so early in the morning. She already contacted Clark's parents that she will take care and watch Clark for today and they also agree and thankful about it.

"Hi big sis."

Sashi smiled widely as he hugged Adam.

"Why are you here? I thought I will be the one who will watch your big bro?" Sashi patted Adam's head which made the boy smiled widely.

Adam is so tall for his age. He also looks like his brother, Clark. They both have the same features but Clark is more masculine now since he's older than Adam.

"He's Adam." Sashi tried to introduce Adam to the ghost Clark behind her but she need to lower her voice so that the boy won't find her weird.

"He is cute, right?" Sashi whispered again but he saw the ghost Clark pouted.

"But you are much cuter." She added as she walked near Clark's bed where he's still sleeping.

Sashi looked back from the ghost Clark direction when she saw something he dropped. She saw the tissue dropped in the floor. She's about to strike a glare when she realized that it's not him because he can touch anything, he is a ghost.

"W- Sash- I- I touch and dropped it." The ghost Clark said while stuttering.

Sashi's brows furrowed because of what he said but she need to make her expressions natural and straight so that Adam won't think that she is crazy.

"What?" She ask, whispering.

"Big sis, is there something wrong? Do you need some help?" Adam asked her innocently.

Sashi swallowed hard before gathering herself to make it calm and straight.

"N-nothing, Dam. I'm fine. Just thinking about something." She answered so boy immediately nodded because of what she said.

Adam is now busy checking something from his phone so Sashi take it as an advantage to talk to the ghost Clark who is trying to touch some things around the room to prove that he really touched the tissue earlier and dropped it when he accidentally and almost stumble.

After an hour the ghost Clark finally gave up when  he did not even successfully touched a single thing in the room.

Sashi ignored him already and chose to clean the bed of her beloved best friend.

"I miss you." She whispered as she caressed Clark's face.

"I miss you too."

Sashi lifted her gaze to the ghost Clark who is also sitting from the other side of the bed.

Sashi's eyes become teary. She smiled as she tried to supressed her tears.

"Whenever you want to talk to him, talk to me instead. Don't hide what you are feeling. Because I am him, I am Clark and I can still feel you even if I can't remember anything. I will bring this memory once I've wake up."

Clark is trying to comfort her.

Clark is telling the truth. There's a part of him that can feel something whenever he is with Sashi. It feels like there are always something that connects him with her, maybe also one of the reason why she is just the only one who have the ability to see him.

Sashi nodded. Whenever she is seeing her friend suffer, she can't help but to cry.

"Next week we will continue our investigation. We need to find out and figure everything out."

Sashi nodded and wipe the tears that about to fall from her cheeks.

"Big sis. My brother will going to wake up. Don't worry, he's is strong."

Sashi smiled because of what Adam said.

"I know, Dam. Your big bro is strong, he will fight." She nodded again as she stared to the ghost Clark.

She can't believe herself that even if it's a ghost, she is still falling for him.
