Chapter 17 - everything is going fine

A few minutes later, I left home, walking to Samantha's house to introduce her to the city. I walked the few blocks that separated our houses, and soon I was ringing her doorbell.

She answered the door wearing jeans, a black sweater, and her hair in a ponytail with a few loose strands falling over her face. She had a sheen of sweat on her forehead, revealing that she was working hard at something.

" Hi Apollo, I thought you were coming later," she smiled.

"I'm sorry, am I interrupting something?" I questioned a bit gracelessly.

Samantha opened the way for me to enter the house, and I soon found out what caused her fatigue. All the suitcases and boxes I bought yesterday were open in the middle of the living room and most of them were already empty.

" I hope you're not carrying any weight," I commented with concern.

" Don't worry, we're fine," she reassured me.

I walked through the boxes, looking at the contents of each one, identifying which one would weigh the most.
