Chapter two

Grace's POV

My phone started ringing loudly in my ears forcing me to wake up. I groaned internally as I picked up the call without checking who it was.

"Grace baby girl, I was busy and couldn't pick up your call. "

"How was work today?" Lisa's cheerful voice drifts into my ear chasing my last straw of sleepiness away. It's very unusual not to get affected by her cheerful mood but remembering my biggest problem at the moment I couldn't tap into a positive vibe.

"Lisa, my boss , sacked me today" I inform her feeling extremely sad and angry.

"why?!

"What happened, baby?

"you didn't beat him up right?" she asked, surprised. If the situation had been different I would have laughed at her question but she knows me quite well and what I'm capable of.

"no I didn't, but I wish I had beaten up the old bag of garbage" I replied snapping angrily.

"What was the reason dear," she asked again softly this time.

I lay down curled up as I narrated what transpired between me and Mandy that led to the loss of my job.

"it serves her for being a bitch, don't worry we will go job hunting together"

Okay? She said cheerfully.

Lisa is a ride or die type of friend, if not Steph we would both have ended up screwing ourselves over.

Talk about Steph.

"I haven't talked to Steph today, have you?" I ask her as I remember that Steph hasn't returned my call.

"no I haven't, I will try contacting her. Maybe we can hang out tonight" she said in her cheerful voice.

I'm not in a mood to hang out, I just feel like spending the night sleeping.

"You seem to be in a really good mood today, you hit a jackpot?" I asked curiously.

"No, I'm actually in a really bad mood but I don't want to spread the vibe out so I decided to kill the bitterness" she replied softly.

"We should all hang out tonight, we need it, we all need a break."

"Even if it's just for a night," I said, feeling the need to hit the club.

"Okay, I will try to get Steph too," she replied, ending the call.

I crave a hot shower, the time on my alarm clock is 5 pm. Which means I have been asleep for two hours.

While I was in the shower I received a message from Lisa, I wrapped a towel around my wet hair.

"Meet us at the regular place in an hour"

She wrote simply in the message.

Oops, I have less than an hour to get ready.

Tonight I decided to go with black, I put on a short black gown that accentuated my body shape. I decide to complete it with black pencil heels, and as fast as I can I apply some makeup to my pale face. Not much makeup, just powder, contour, and black lipstick. I brush my black hair and let it fall freely on my shoulders.

I'm not driving tonight because I'm sure I will not be able to drive myself back home, locking my apartment. Lisa's call came in.

"Grace where the fuck are you? She snapped at me the moment the call connected.

"I'm on my way, I'm waiting for an Uber driver" I replied before she yelled at me.

"Get your ass over here," she said, ending the call.

I hurry out of the Uber the moment the driver parked, not far from me I can see Steph's car parked with Lisa sitting on the bonnet.

We all entered the club. The loud music was uncomfortable for a while, and a waiter approached us as we sat down.

"Beautiful girls what should I give you?" he asked smiling at us

"Margaritas will be fine," Lisa answered on our behalf.

Is it weird that we all like drinking the same type of drink?

After consuming a lot of margaritas and some red wine, we all entered the dance floor. We danced to put satisfaction, Steph went back to our table but Lisa and I continued dancing.

One thing with getting drunk is that it has a way of messing you up without your permission.

Steph being the less drunk one called an Uber driver for me, she left with Lisa in the car.

I wait outside the club swaying on my feet, I have long removed my shoes.

A black car stopped in front of me and without checking I opened the car door mistaking it for the Uber driver I was waiting for.

I rattled my address off to the driver as I sat down sloppily, it is not my fault things seem to have grown bigger tonight. Entering the car was a hassle because I thought the car was too big and I was breathing heavily after I successfully sat down.

"Start the car," a deep voice said beside me jolting. Sitting beside is a strange man, how did he get in here?

"Who are you? "

"Why are you here? I asked as I squinted my eyes at him trying to get a better look at his face.

But he just keeps me quiet.

"Are you real? I asked, poking his face with my finger.

A pair of dark eyes stared at me intensely, his features clouded with puzzlement as he chuckled at me.

"Yes I am" he replied looking at me amused.

The car pulled into the parking lot of a villa, perplexed. I come out of the car curious about the strange environment.

"where am I?

Where is my house? I asked as I tugged on the man.

But instead of answering he kept waking into the villa, scared I followed behind him like a lost puppy.

I'm starting to sober up, as I looked warily at the house.

I kept following him around as he entered the room.

"You will spend the night, if you need anything I will be in my study," he said, turning around.

"No! Don't leave me alone, please" I pleaded as I latched on to him like an octopus.

He stiffened at my sudden action.

All his attempt to get him off was futile, he seems to be annoyed by the clingy act.

Lisa or Steph are always the ones I always spend nights like this with but they are not here so I have no choice.

"Okay, take a shower then. You reek of alcohol " he said scrunching up his nose.

"shower with me!" I blurted out immediately, shocking him.

"Are you crazy?

"Yea," I replied without blinking.

With pure amusement, he followed into the bathroom curious.

With slow movement I remove my clothes leaving me in my undergarments, without breaking eye contact with him I remove them one after the other until I'm left with nothing on.

He is shocked but masks it quickly as he follows my actions.

"Join me," I said as I turned on the shower.

Just like I did when he removed his clothes, my eyes traveled from his face to his broad shoulders to his abs. I continue lower to his huge cock.

With water cascading down our bodies, our lips moved in sync.
