Chapter Nine

The driver dropped her at the hotel and she went straight to her room. She caught herself smiling as she took off her dress in front of the mirror.

She closed her eyes as she reminisced about the moment when she was on the Ferris wheel with Jaxon.

She sighed and fell on the bed, her phone rang and she searched her purse for it. It was her best friend Hadley.

"Hey SC!" Hadley's voice came through excitedly when she answered the call.

"How are you, chipmunk?" Serena smiled as she stared at her ceiling.

"I'm good, I'm watching Rich dad and eating chips." Hadley munched loudly.

"What's up with you, you haven't been sending me any photos. Don't tell me you've been in your bed all day."

"I just got back from a carnival, I mean I just had a really good time!" Serena rolled over and laid on her stomach.

Hadley could feel the excitement from the phone.

"Sereennaaa, tell me, what's going on, spill, come on girl!" Hadley urged her on.

"There's this guy I bumped into yesterday." Serena hesitat
