Apology

The chirping of birds sounded so loud in the ears. The wind blowing against the skin was soothing. The shy-looking sun was slowly shining. Chris was pensive as he stared out the window, as if he was waiting to hear from someone he was looking forward to.

And not long after, there was a knock on the door of Chris' room.

"Come in."

Without looking back, Chris invited the person who knocked on the door to enter.

"Hah ... I have a bad news today." Lewis sighed heavily and walked inside after closing the door of Chris' room. He immediately sat down on the sofa.

"What's wrong?" Chris turned around and frowned in confusion.

Lewis stared at Chris for a long time. He was suddenly unsure whether he should tell Chris about this or not. With a faint sigh, Lewis got up from the sofa and walked closer to Chris.

"I've been looking into Agatha's situation. She's currently unwell."

"What do you mean?!" Chris straightened up, looking at Lewis seriously.
