The door pulled open and Elizebeth walked in. "I'm so sorry but plans have been changed, Elliot had something up and he has postponed." She said and Eden nodded.

She glanced at the food she had prepared before heading upstairs not looking back. Her mind still rotating at the so much expectation she had anticipated today,

Entering her room, she closed the door behind her, shutting out the world momentarily. The weight of the day pressed upon her, the expectations she had held for this meeting now a swirling storm in her mind.

Eden pulled her clothes off the minute she walked inside the room before walking into the shower. She let the water run freely on my body while she shut her eyes. The stream of water felt like a comforting embrace, soothing the tension in her muscles.
