The moment Frederick's tongue finds its way into my mouth, i feel a butterfly sensation in my stomach. A tingle washed over my entire body, and for a second, it felt like my body was turning against me. I felt paralyzed, his touch making me feel weak.

His hand rests on the back of my neck, while the other wraps around my waist, pulling my body close to his strong frame.

So is this what it feels like? Is this what it’s like to be kissed and held by the most wanted man in this pack, in almost all packs?

My old self would have passed out from a heart attack.

The old Tessa would never have imagined holding hands with Alpha Frederick, much less being kissed by him.

I opened my eyes, and in an instant, those images broke apart. Leaving only these sick, repulsed feelings.

Once I got myself together, I placed my hand on Frederick's chest and pushed him away with force. Creating a distance between us.

His lips glisten with saliva, his strands cascading down his face.

Right. It's so many things that make zero sense. Every character reasons like a middle schooler

So she's juvenile with a chip on her shoulder, physically weak, and far too dumb to try and contact her adoptive parents to help get her brother out of this packs dungeons, knowing he's her only line of defense. Dante isn't all that bright either, considering he came to an enemy pack with no guards
