You Can't Act All Spoiled

 Rexton's POV.

 I saw the car in which Amelie and her friends were traveling away from the castle through the window in the work room. The car just passed by until it finally passed the gate and was no longer visible in my sight. I let out a rough breath, Amelie's presence back in my life seemed to be at the right time. At least that's what I'm partnering with now.

 After I could no longer see the car, I sat down on my work chair. My hands started to open the laptop and re-check the documents that seemed to be needed during the meeting later. A few moments passed and I felt that everything was complete and perfect, nothing was left behind and nothing was missing in the slightest. I really appreciate Beta Luke's performance, which is always satisfying.

 When I was about to go to get ready, I actually heard the sound of my smartphone beeping, indicating that I had received a short message. Not as usual, this time I was curious about what notifications came into my smartphone. I sat back down on my work chair and checked the smartphone. In the messaging account, I found a photo from a foreign number that I didn't recognize.

 "Who's this?" I asked quietly as I opened my chat room with that account.

 Without waiting long and because my curiosity was increasing, I immediately downloaded the photo sent by foreign number. When the photo was successfully downloaded, I was silent for a moment looking at the photo. In the photo I saw two people who were not so foreign to me, one of whom was even very close to me.

 After a while I enlarged the photo. Photos that look very intimate. It is a photo of Matilda with Levin, her face is very clear here. I am very sure that this photo is original and not edited. It doesn't show in the slightest that this photo is edited, the dress that Matilda is wearing is also the same as what I saw this afternoon and the two of them are also in front of the car that Matilda often uses. I never thought that they would still be close to this day, even after Matilda became my wife and my luna.

 I took a deep breath, I didn't have time to wait for Matilda to return and ask her what the photo meant because I had to get ready immediately. In about twenty minutes the meeting will be held.

 "Make sure you have everything prepared and brought, Beta Luke."

 Beta Luke nodded his head. "Yeah, I've prepared everything and I've also checked twice to make sure everything is in my bag."

 "That's great, does that mean we can go now? I don't want to be late."

 "Of course," said Beta Luke who then opened the car door for me.

 As usual, if I go for a work meeting or anything other than personal business, Beta Luke will definitely double as a personal driver for me too. I sat in the middle seat, occasionally my eyes looked outside from behind the car window. Not too long after leaving the castle gate, the car Alu was riding in passed Matilda's car. My sharp eyes looked at the car. If only I had more time, I would have asked him to talk first about the photo I got from a foreign number.

 I took the smartphone from the pocket of the shirt I was wearing. Entering the messaging application, I opened my chat room again with the foreign number. Apparently the photo is still there and has not been deleted. I decided to take a screenshot and save it in a secret folder as well as the original photo, not only that, I also sent it to Beta Luke.

 The notification sound from Beta Luke's smartphone sounded quite loud, however he didn't budge an inch and continued driving the car. He didn't even look at where the smartphone was, his eyes were still focused on looking at the road in front of the car he was going to pass.

 "That's a message from me, you keep it well."

 Beta Luke looked at me from the windshield of the car, he nodded his head. "Okay, Alpha Rexton."

 The meeting lasted for two hours and discussed the development of cooperation and what was lacking and needed to be improved. I feel lucky to be able to work with Mr. Anderson, it's just that now I can't ask him to entrust something to Amelie because he no longer works at Boss Media Company.

 Instead of ending the meeting immediately, we first chatted and joked around. Different from Mr. The ever serious Jeremy, Mr. Anderson laughs very easily and is fun to joke with. Sometimes his jokes even become comedy in themselves for everyone present in the meeting. 

 A few minutes later, it's just me, Mr. Anderson and Beta Luke alone are in this room. I took a small sip of the mineral water provided by Boss Media Company. My eyes wandered around, but my focus was on Mr. Anderson seemed to have wanted to say something.

 "Alpha Rexton." He called in a deep voice. He also improved his sitting position, perhaps to make it more comfortable. "Have you seen what will soon be splashing all over the media?"

 My forehead furrowed, I shook my head at Mr. Anderson. "I don't know, what is it?"

 "This is concerning to your own wife."

 "Will she be famous because of the videos she often shares on social media?"

 "Do you really not know about that?"

 I shook my head. "What is it? Don't confuse me, Mr. Anderson."

 I heard Mr. Anderson let out a heavy sigh. His hand reached into his pocket and took out his smartphone from inside. "Before you came, I got a photo from a foreign number. Did you really not know that?" He showed it to me.

 Instead of answering, I just asked again. I pretended not to know anything. "Is that Matilda with another wolfman?"

 "Of course, it's obvious that it's them. Doesn't Matilda have no brothers and even her father is dead?"

 I was silent for a moment. "Can you close the news with something? I don't want all the members in the pack to feel disappointed with this relationship."

 "Of course, but someone has to pay."

 "No need to worry, I will pay whatever you want."

 "Okay, thank you, Alpha Rexton." Mr Anderson smiled and reached out to shake Alpha Rexton. "See you at the next meeting." He got up from his seat and left.

 "It seems it's too late, Alpha Rexton. Too many accounts have posted this photo. Apart from getting it from you, I also got the photo from a foreign number before you sent it to me."
