Going To Attack

 Griffin's POV.

I don't know how long I've been in this basement. About an hour ago Gloria delivered food which only consisted of one biscuit and a glass of water. I still felt hungry if I only ate that, but Gloria didn't give me any more, she actually threatened me by not giving me any more to eat if I asked for more. This left me with no other choice but to nod and endure my hunger. Besides, this was also my fault for not obeying what she said.

My eyes looked forward, to the basement walls which were not neat and were still in the form of dirt. It looks like this basement has never been repaired and continues to be like this or this is a newly built basement, I don't know. Tired of sitting, I lay down. I could only curl up and cry, missing my mother who never came to save me.

The sound of the door lock opening again was heard, I saw Gloria descending the stairs while covering her nose. The basement is really dirty and smelly, it's because of my poop. My chained feet meant I couldn't go anywhere, every time I shouted for Gloria, she never heard me. This makes me forced to throw dirt here. Actually, I was also bothered, but there was no other choice.

"Disgusting." She said in an annoyed tone. Gloria approached, she removed the chains from my feet. "Come with me upstairs and clean yourself up. Don't try to escape, do you understand?!"

I didn't say anything and just nodded my head. This is my first time out of the basement. Apparently this house is quite spacious, to get to the bathroom I have to walk quite far. As I continued walking I looked around, trying to find a way out.

Gloria told me to go into the bathroom. I complied and drained it which was a good opportunity since I was in the bathroom alone. Maybe later I'll think about how to escape from here. Gloria was waiting outside and she gave me five minutes.

Entering the bathroom, my eyes immediately fell on the small window here. Even though it's quite high, it looks like I can still get red by climbing the bucket. Looking back, I think the time Gloria was given was still quite long. I immediately turned on the water tap and climbed into the bucket with very slow movements. In my heart I kept hoping that I wouldn't make any noise so that Gloria wouldn't suspect me of trying to escape.

"It turns out it's quite high here too." I thought about how to get down without getting hurt.

"Hi, boy," someone said surprising me. "Jump, I'll catch you." He said in a whisper.

I looked back, towards the toilet door which was still closed. "Are you done, Griffin?" asked Gloria, I could hear her clearly.

Between Gloria or the wolf in front of me now, I'm confused about which one to believe. The toilet door slowly opened and my eyes met Gloria's, but I managed to jump down before she reached me again.

My body fell in his arms. He immediately took me away from around Gloria's house and I saw there were lots of wolves here. I didn't know what was going on but after that I heard screams and what seemed like a series of shots. Wolf who helped me earlier covered my ears and eyes so I couldn't see clearly, especially since it was so dark around here.

A few moments later, the sounds of screaming and gunfire could no longer be heard. My body shivered with fear, I sat on the lap of the wolf who helped me and we hid behind the trees. The other wolves entered Gloria's house and the wolf who helped me left. He picked me up again.

"Is he the one you are looking for, Alpha Rexton." He said approaching several wolves.

My eyes looked towards the wolfman who was not far from me now. He looked at me intently, his eyes looking from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. My heart was beating fast, I was afraid that I had taken the wrong step. I don't recognize the wolves here at all, but why did they order me?

The Wolfman known as Alpha Rexton walked closer slowly. His eyes were still looking at me. My body was lowered from the arms of the wolf who wanted to help me and Alpa Rexton hugged me tightly.

I don't know who he is but I feel my heart is touched. My tears flowed and I cried in his arms. He scooped me into his arms and when I felt something wet on my shoulder, I realized that he was crying too.

"Let go ... let go of me!" The sound of the scream made your arms fall apart. I looked towards the source of the sound.

"I wanted to help you by sending that photo, Alpha Rexton. Why are you still punishing me?"

"Oh, it turns out you were the one who sent the photo and even sent it to the other wolves? Do you think it's a good thing to embarrass your Luna? I appreciate your kindness in wanting to prove that what you said was true, but you must still be punished for kidnapping Griffin." Alpha Rexton sighed. "Take her and keep her safe."

 "Okay, Alpha Rexton."

When Gloria was taken into a car, Alpha Rexton matched her height with me. He stood on his knees. "I'm sorry." He said while hugging me for a few moments. "Let's go from here."

He took my hand, but I didn't want to move. "S--sorry." I said looking at him, looking up because he was two tall.

His forehead frowned. "Why apologize? You didn't do anything wrong. Let's get out of here, don't you miss your mother?"

 "But--" My sentence just stopped.

At the same time another wolfman was seen approaching, he whispered to Alpha Rexton. Hisr lips smiled at me after talking to the other wolfman. "No need to be afraid, I'm your dad."

"D--dad?" My forehead frowned. Learning from how Gloria persuaded me, I didn't want to quickly trust other people, especially those I had just met.

"Yeah." He nodded his head. "I'm Rexton Rylee, what's your name?"

 "Gri--Griffin Rylee." I answered uncertainly.

"Look, just our last names." He said softly. "Come on, mom is waiting for us at the castle. We will go there together. You don't need to worry, there are many wolves who will accompany you here and I am one of them."
