Chapter Forty Two

I prepared a picnic for us. I proceeded to put on clothes and waited for her to do the same.

After putting on clothes, I brought out a food basket that I had packed from home. I instructed Lucia to pack her favorite food.

We walked to the mountain, holding our hands together.

We found a beautiful spot and laid out our food to eat. I have not been eating well since she left, but being here with her awakened my hunger.

I packed lots of beef, a huge bowl of mashed potatoes, apples, hot sauce, and water.

I wanted it to be like a date, the one I have seen humans have.

We devoured the food, enjoying every bit of it.

After we had eaten under the sun, we were sweaty and full.

We walked down from the mountain back to the cabin, and when we got to the pool, she suggested that we swim to cool off.

She took off her clothes completely and went into the pool. She brought out her hands, battered her eyelashes at me, and invited me to join her.
