EPISODE-4

Daelyn woke up extra happy that day, it was her birthday. She checked her phone and saw that Jordyn and Leona texted her at midnight wishing her and expressed their sadness at not being able to celebrate with her. She turned around looking for her boyfriend. But he was nowhere to be seen. This has been going on for the last two weeks, he always leaves early and comes home late. Daelyn couldn't deny her disappointment.

She did her morning routine and made herself some breakfast and left the house. She walked her way to the university. She was exchanging her books when she was harshly shoved into the wall behind her. She collapsed because of the impact. She looked up to see her biggest bully Livana Lee, no one dared to oppose her because she was next in line for the Chairman of Ihde corporations. She was quite a powerful and richest woman and was also rumoured to be Alastair's fiance, So no one wanted to be on her bad side. She touched her bruised arm, tearing up as it hurt.

"Aw, look. The little bitch is crying." She said, picking up Daelyn's bag while her friends were smirking down at her. She rummage through the bag finding her phone. She read Leona's message to the girl.

"Oh, was it your birthday today? Why didn't you tell us? We would have planned something special instead of this regular thing." She says grabbing the girl's hand harshly, pressing on the wound and Daelyn winced.

"Leave me alone." Daelyn cried out as picked her bag and ran away from the scene.

She scrolled through her phone finding Leona's contact. She hesitated on calling her, she and Jordyn were on their school trip. She felt bad about ruining their time together, so she ended up calling Alastair. After a few rings he picked up.

"Excuse me, may I know who this is." A female voice asked from the other side.

"Um. Hi I'm Daelyn, Alastair's acquaintance. Isn't this his contact number." She asked as she checked the number twice, realising that she dailed the correct number.

"I'm sorry ma'am, but I was given orders to not disturb him until the meeting. I'll ask Mr.Emrys to get back to you." She says.

"It's ok, it's not important anyways. Thank you for your time." She says ending the call.

She wiped her tears that fell down her eyes. She crouched down at the pavement crying, she quickly walked past the people trying to get her mind off things. Daelyn was walking through a quiet corner when she felt as if someone was following her. She turned back and someone covered her face with a cloth and she lost consciousness.

It took almost several hours for Alastair to realise that his Daelyn was missing. His secretary informed him that Daelyn called him. He tried calling her several times but he couldn't reach her. He hurried and called Hazel Darville, the one who owned the H&W university.

"Hazel, check Daelyn's attendance for me. It's urgent and do it now." He ordered her, rubbing his temples.

"Yes, wait. She hasn't attended university today." She answered as the other tensed for a moment.

"Call Julian, ask him to track her down. Ask Natalya to take a stroll in the 14-b sector, tell her to inform me on anything suspicious." He said as he left the office leaving everything else to his secretary.

"Yes, sure. Is something wrong." She asked, rolling her eyes when she realised that he had already cut the call.

Alastair was driving to the alley, he knew she went there when she wanted to be alone and it seemed that someone else knew about this too. He parked outside and took his blazer off in order to avoid the attention. He walked into the alley and Natalya met him half way through.

"It seems that she was here. That guy who lives there said that someone kidnapped a young girl and headed to that old rusty looking house." She said pointing to a weird rusty warehouse.

Alastair and Natalya were in front of the rusty old door. Natalya tried to open the door manually but failed. Annoyed, she kicked the door open. The sight there shocked both of them. There were corpses of the people around and they found Daelyn on the cold floor, passed out. Alastair carried her to her car while Natalya did her investigation. They reached his house and he had called for the doctor on the way. He waited as the doctor checked up on her.

"She's alright, just lost consciousness boss." Ethan Roe, the doctor of the group said while the other sighed relieved.

"Thanks Ethan." Alastair runs his hands through his platinum blonde hair.

"What exactly happened there?" Ethan asks.

"I think that's a question that this guy needs to answer." Natalya drags a guy with her and shoves him inside.

"I-I really d-don't know anything. He c-came out of nowhere and killed t-them, then he j-just vanished. He hid his f-face under a bl-black mask and was wearing all black clothes. I don't know anything else. Please Spare me." The said guy stuttered out, shivering under Alastair's cold gaze.

"The black swan." Natalya mumbles, shocked.

"Welcome to dreams cafe, may I take your order." The tall guy asks his customers, that group of girls just giggle pushing a girl to the front.

"We would like to h-have six red velvet pastries please." The girl squeaked out.

"And that will be £16." He takes the card from the girl's hands, finishing the order.

"May I have your number too." The girl asks, blushing.

"I'm sorry but that isn't listed in the menu." He jokes as the group of girls picked their order and exited. He sighs, turning onto the cupboards behind him.

"May I have a strawberry slice and an espresso." A girl asks, she lowers her sunglasses to look at him. She was wearing a white shirt tucked into a black pencil skirt.

She picked her order up and drove to the mansion in the outskirts of the town. She picked the parcel and walked into the basement where she knew he would be sitting while the others worked on finding that girl. She didn't know why they were searching for that girl and why she was that important. She went into the basement to see her best friend leaning against the wall clutching a wine glass, twirling it between his tall and slender fingers. She opened the paper bag and started slicing the cake.

"I see you are still crushing on that cafe guy." He says smirking at her.

"I see that you still didn't find her." She retorted, making a face at him.

"Fine, I give up." He says raising his hands.

"Just who is she?" She asks.

"Someone who's worth all this El." He says looking around the room.

"Sir, there has been a sighting of the black swan." A man informs him as he dropped the glass in his hands due to shock.

SCENE#2

SCENE#2

Alastair sighed looking at the guy, the poor guy didn't know who he just witnessed. Even if the assassin let him go now, he'll be back for him and that was what he wanted. He wanted to know what really happened down there for the assassin to go on a killing spree like that. The scene was too violent even for him, that was a slaughter.

"Hand him over to Julian and ask him to train this guy. He watched the black swan without him noticing. He'll be of use." He says, as Natalya frowns.

"Can't I just kill him." She asks, still frowning.

"No, kill this guy instead." He hands her a file with a profile, her sparkle as she opens it.

"Isn't he one of Nolan's men." She asks, prying into the file.

"He betrayed us, so he doesn't deserve to live. Hand him over to Julian and do your research and kill him." He says as the girl salutes to him playfully and drags the guy out leaving the two alone.

"Just, who are you? The most dangerous assassin just popped down and helped you." He asks caressing her wound located on her cheekbone.

AT EXODUS'S HIDEOUT:

"Seriously, who is this girl?" Heather Darville, the chairman of H&W university grumbles, sitting comfortably on the chair.

"Al's new toy. No, this time she might be a permanent one." Julian says, taking a seat in front of her. The computer room was quite large and it was busy today. They were trying to decrypt Daelyn's adoption certificate.

"Whatever, she is a great hacker by the way. She won that hacker tournament two years ago and that's how she got into the university. No one else knows this detail except for her friends. She asked the management to not let that detail out due to personal issues." Heather hands the file to Julian.

"Woah, she's good." Julian mumbles.

"She's a straight A+ student, unlike a certain senior of hers." Heather said when someone entered.

"You are talking about me, I presume." Natalya says, offering a sweet-sickly smile, dragging the injured guy with her.

"How did you guess." Heather stands up, crossing her arms.

"My ears were burning." She says rubbing her ears.

"Bitch." Heather grumbles smirking at her.

Natalya grabs her and shoves her against the wall. Heather grabs her hand and strikes at a certain pressure point on her neck. Natalya falls on the ground at the impact. Heather was a very trained fighter, she knows too much about the pressure points on a human body. She could kill a human in a minute straight. While Natalya was an expert with weapons, she makes her way with almost every weapon that there is. Natalya never engages in physical combat while Heather never engages in a weapon fight.

"Already down, Nat." Heather asks, playing a concerned smile on her face.

"I don't think so." She lunged at Heather with a dagger. But someone held her hand stopping her.

"Stop. I had enough of your kit-kat fights." Yuna Miles, the consigliere of exodus club said as she got in between them.

"For the record she started it." Heather shrugs.

"Did not, thank you very much." Natalya says as she brushes the dust off her dress.

"Boss, the adoption certificate is open." A lanky boy informs Julian and the rest of them look at the big screen in front of her.

"Search those names in our database." Julian says pointing to the names written in the parents section and the rest of them watched in suspense.

"Um, sir. There's a problem. They don't exist." The boy says as Julian slams his hands on the table in front of him.

"Whatever the hell do you mean?" Heather watched the boy's computer.

"Maybe it's fake." Quinn Dyett, one of the caporegime of the club says.

"Why would it be protected if it's fake? It doesn't make sense." Natalya says as yuna nods.

"It just doesn't add up. And we're back to square one. We don't know anything about her." Julian presses his forehead.

"Wait, look at that." Heather shouts pointing to the white marks on the paper.

"What's so important about that?" Natalya remarks sarcastically.

"Well, the paper seems old and brown but the paper under the names looks new and white." Heather says, glaring at natalya.

"Just go to the orphanage and go through the records. Heather, Julian will text you the address, go check it out with Ethan." Yuna says as Heather's eyes widen.

"I'm just gonna go. I'm not letting that doctor accompany me like a bodyguard. I can protect myself nana." Heather grumbles, crossing her arms.

Ethan was one of their caporegimes and it was too obvious about him liking her. He flirted with her almost every time, surprisingly she didn't find him uncomfortable. But she pushed him away because she was embarrassed. That was why everyone was trying to pair them up.

"It was an order Ju." Yuna declares.

"Whatever." She grumbles slamming the door behind her as she exits.

"And you enquire Jordyn about her. And that without him doubting you." Yuna smiles at Natalya who was grinning at Heather's defeat.

"WHAT." Natalya shouts after processing her orders.

"JUST GET OUT BEFORE I KILL YOU." Yuna shouts as Natalya growls.

"Fine." She says as she raises her hands.

PLACE: UNKOWN

"Where was the sighting?" The man asks as he motions someone else to clean his mess up.

"Are you alright?" The girl asks, scanning her best friend's hands for injuries.

"It was in the 14-B sector, near the headquarters of The Mafia Syndicate." The guy informs him.

"Whose territory is that." The man asks, rubbing his temples.

"It belongs to The Vipers." A new voice breaks into the room. The rest of them turned around to find the source of the sound. They saw their second-in-command, Aiden Elrod.

"You would not like to mess with them. They work for Exodus and we wouldn't want to be on their bad side." The girl named El answers.

"But why are you after that assassin?" El asks as the man chuckled dryly.

"The black swan is our assassin." Aiden declares as the girl steps backwards stumbling down as she was shocked.

"Yes and wherever he goes, she'll be nearby." The man says, eyeing the worried girl approaching him.

"Are you alright?" The hacker girl asks worriedly.

"Yes sweetheart. Search around the area with your men, Aiden" The man says as Aiden gives him a weird look.
